Hate to leave a bad review for this venue because I’ve seen plenty of great shows here but last night’s performance - ARKAI - was atrocious. I sat through the first 3 songs, which were painful, and left after that. Pissed I spent money. These guys play basic level violin and a cello over a backing track with over the top, unnatural stage antics that did not match the music. The music itself would’ve been ok if it wasn’t for the theatrical performance, it was completely unauthentic, ridiculous and unbearable to watch.

Went to Colony with the family for the first time to see the outdoor Joan Osborne concert. From the moment we got our tickets, down to accommodating us for my young son to be able to sit in the front row Justin was extremely helpful and friendly and made such a memorable experience for us. The venue is amazing indoor and outdoor, the food is great and we will definitely be back.

A month ago, I married the love of my life and we had the absolute pleasure of having our wedding at Colony in Woodstock. There are countless incredible things to say about the venue. First: it is gorgeous -- there are hundreds of little details that make it spectacular for any event, let alone a wedding. You can clearly see the care the owners and staff pour into the entire space, both the indoors concert hall and the outdoor beer garden/music venue.
Speaking of the owners and staff -- they are world class; a combination of every thing you could hope for when planning a wedding. BIG shout out to Laura Anson, the Colony Wedding Coordinator, who was with us every step of the way -- she is an amazing human being and we are so glad we had the pleasure of working with her to make this day possible. I’d also like to mention both Michael Hurwitz and Justin Kolts, the general managers who were also present during the wedding and helped the entire event go without a hitch -- which it truly did.
If you are looking for a wedding venue, or for an event space in general in the Woodstock area, you will do yourself a disservice if you do not seriously consider Colony. They were incredible collaborators, generous with their time and fully enabled Sarah and myself to create a wedding that was a pure representation of us and our love for eachother. This was truly the greatest and best wedding I have ever been to and every person who attended has gone out of their way to tell my wife and I the same thing.
Colony is truly a spectacular place, we cannot wait to go back and attend a concert!!

So many happy woodstock memories involving The Colony! The vibes are just right! Love the billiards room. Love the music. The staff. The food is decent. The beer garden is lovely.

Beautiful Decor! Nice Bar! Great Bar Tenders. Open Mic Night! Food is Made in an open kitchen. You order at the Kitchen counter and they give you a Buzzer to come back for your food. They have an Indoor and outdoor Stage! Also a Bar Outside. We had a Lovely time listening to Locals sing and preform.

Super fun venue with inside bar, tables and stage, plus a kitchen and best of all, an outdoor bar and stage with garden seating. Drinks were well mixed by a friendly server. Great to see live music in an informal setting. Could improve the end of the night instructions- it was unclear if the place was staying open, and although we were served another drink, it felt like we were not overly welcome to stay.
