Nana’s Take Out Cafe & Sweetery

What a great little cafe. I’m there about once a month due to my job and every time I’ve been there I’ve been greeted by the kindest people and have had really good food. A great place to try things that you wouldn’t think would be good. All around a great place.

Today I had the Falafel Burger. Which was awesome. The falafel mix was seasoned beautifully and you can tell the ingredients were fresh.

If you are passing through Woodstock, do not pass Nana’s.

We visited Woodstock for a few days and had to stop here because of the name! A Sweetery❤️! Picked up four delicious pastries to bring home and two coffees for the road. Key Lime bar … 👩🏻‍🍳💋!

I dont hate this place, but I feel like it could better. I NEVER make it when they are open...and it feels like they are closed 99% of the time. I am also old and find the whole set up and coffee thing confusing. Staff are nice most of the time.

Hi!

My boyfriend just picked lunch up for the two of us. He sat the food down next to the coffee station while he filled up our cups. While he was doing so, a stranger picked up our food and left with it. When my boyfriend let the man behind the counter know what had happened, he replied, “Now, you’re trying to get something for free? You should have been watching your food!”

Paternalistic, disrespectful behavior like this should not acceptable in Woodstock. It shouldn’t be acceptable anywhere.

I hope this review gets a response. This whole situation was appalling to me.

Food and sweets were AMAZING. Highly recommend the “crazy egg” sandwich.

Nana’s does offer gluten free bread for sandwiches and sweets are labeled for gluten and vegan options!

I will definitely be stopping by again!

Amazing food, coffee, and service! First time here and we felt so welcome and relaxed. The blueberry banana oatmeal was out of this world and so was their coffee! They also gave great suggestions for local places to take the kids. Highly recommended!
