Probably the best “upscale” restaurant in and around Woodstock. Great atmosphere, very Manhattan like, and you will also have to pay city prices. However, the food is totally worth it from the quality you get, preparation, presentation, and of course taste. The only thing that wasn’t my cup of tea was the rose water infused dessert. I’m not a big fan of “infused desserts” in general and also this one couldn’t convince me otherwise. Will definitely come back when in Woodstock! Also: make reservations. The place fills up even on a regular weekday.

What a gem this place is! From apps to dessert- full satisfaction! ??Citrusy halloumi with a salad was very fresh and flavorful.❤️Smoked beets and lamb merguez with shrimp and veggies - were bright and comforting. scallops were outstanding.The restaurant was very busy so make sure to reserve your table in advance. We will definitely be back when in the area!

This time I've made a reservation for a particular table which was important for that night - when I arrived and asked for the table, Concierge said yes I did reserve that table but "this is not how we do it here" we don't hold particular tables if someone comes from the street. He informed me "Someone came in 15 min before you, asked for that table - and I gave that table to them". I find that unacceptable. The Concierge spoke arrogantly. He single-handedly turned me from a frequent guest into not wanting to come again.

Silvia in Woodstock is a gem of a dining spot! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a beautiful and inviting atmosphere that exudes charm and sophistication. The wood-fired kitchen adds an extra layer of excitement to the dining experience, infusing each dish with a rustic, smoky flavors.During our visit, we had the pleasure of sampling the lamb & shrimp, it was bursting with flavor. The freshness of the salad was evident, providing a delightful contrast to the hearty mains. The scallops were simply divine, with a buttery richness that melted in the mouth. We also enjoyed the Chicken Schnitzel!The staff were amazing, informative, kind and welcoming.What's more, you can extend your evening across the street at the beautiful Early Terrible Cocktail bar. It's a beautiful spot to enjoy a drink before or after your meal.Silvia is the the perfect spot for a romantic evening or a gathering with friends. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their seasonal menu!

Dined at Sylvia last night and wow did they knock it out of the park with the SMOKED SAVOY CABBAGE. butter bean, sauerkraut, parsley oil, mustard, thyme au jus. I am not one to order a vegan dish but we were curious as the listed ingrediants really hit all the marks for my palette and i was not dissipointed. Easily the best vegan dish i have ever had. Hats off to everyone at Sylvia, it's always a pleasure spending time there.

Pita with honey butter and chicken and duck pate were especially great and smoked beet with jalapeno chimichurri, chicken schnitzel, pork chop and steelhead tout were also good. Seasoning was balanced well. Atmosphere was good and staff were friendly.
