I'M FROM A FAMILY THAT KNOWS HOW TO COOK VERY VERY WELL!! LISTEN WHEN I TELL U THAT THIS PLACE IS WHAT YOU CALL A REAL JAMAICAN RESTAURANT..MY 5TH TIME BUYING HERE ,EACH TIME THE EXPERIENCE IS TOP OF THE LINE SERVICE. THE JERK IS MY FAVORITE
The food is not consistent. Beware of hidden costs. Idk, maybe its me. I feel like it i spend $40 - $50 and ask for 1 extra sauce, why would you charge me 75 cents. So you lose a customer for less than a dollar. This was one of the few times I didn't get the usual attitude at jamaican spots, but when im spending a decent amount of money, why would you charge 75 cents for jerk sauce and not give as a courtesy. Just a thought.
Wow! I don't know who was working today but they PACKED my plate! The people are also super nice and friendly. My mom and I always come here when she's craving oxtail and I want some good chicken. The food is immaculate. I will always reccomend Island Jerk. <3
