I love ordering from small businesses especially black owned. I placed an order for team at work everyone was looking forward to a good lunch. We decided to try Bk soulfood. When the order was received some orders received items that they did not order. I called back to say some orders have items they did not request and the person answering said If we do not have what you ordered we will add something we have. I asked why not reach out to the customer and say you do not have part of there your order and see what they would like to substitute it for with things that you do have. The person rudly said that's not what we do and put some else on the phone. This person went over the order and even though we had another order being sent out that we did not receive yet refused to correct the order with something the person would possibly like even though they sent something in the original order the person was allergic to. After saying they would not correct the orders that was sent wrong the person on the phone said just give the food received in the wrong orders to someone else and hung up. I must say no one enjoyed their food. Everything was very tasteless and unseasoned. The macaroni and cheese taste like noodles and American cheese slices added to the top. The fish was very small and taste like frost bitten undercook fish cooked in cornmeal. This fryed chicken was still pink in the middle and some how still dry on the outer parts. The shimp was tasteless and rubbery. Avoid ordering from this place. They do not appreciate the customers they get and after trying the food I would be amazed if they have ANY repeat customers.

I ordered from them earlier today through DoorDash. The yams weren’t fully cooked they were dry not even a little sweet. The macaroni the cheese inside tasted fake like it was box macaroni. The only thing that was okay was the ribs and then even those kinda be on the rough side. Cornbread was dry ! The food here is on & off because I’ve ordered from here a few times one day the food can be decent and the next terrible

How do they offer a platter with 2 sides, don't put in one of the sides because they ran out, but don't even call or anything to give the option to replace it with something else and still keep the full amount of money we paid and said nothing about it until we complained. Yall are bogus. Then ontop of that what's the point off asking for specifics if you weren't going to do it.

Disgusting! Ordered garlic wings and received half baked wings with minced garlic thrown on them. Mac and cheese had absolutely no taste, just noodles with melted cheese… don’t waste your money here. Waste of $40

Absolutely disappointing blue plates and tea pots do not make a high tea! The room was NOT elegant, that was NOT a tea cup! The tea was tepid weak NOT steeped, rude service, I could go on and on but I'm to distressed I was boasting about my city to my guest - well after this place i had egg on my face Run right pass this place
