I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and the chicken was tasteless, I was throwing a lot of ketchup because it was too watery which caused the bread to be damaged too :(

I Ordered the Seafood Paella Marinara for 1. They gave a big pan filled with mostly rice. The seafood they did add was low quality. You can tell by the taste it was all frozen. The lobster meat was melted and stuck to the shell and tasteless. Mussel and clam shells were broken and had no meat in them. The few shrimps in the dish were not deveined, and the rice itself was very bland. The dish itself was approximately 50$. I ordered a few other things, but the pernil was the only thing I can honestly say was good. Everything together was about 100$. Overall, very disappointing and a waste of money and time. Taco Bell would have hit better!!!

When I need comfort food, this is my favorite spot. I visit here too much. The food is very tasty and large portion size, two people can definitely share a plate. Drinks are on point they don't disappoint it's worth it.

Don't order the Pallea.
I have been going to Caridad in the Bronx, New Rochelle and now Yonkers forever. I have always found the food to be delicious and consistent. @ Yonkers NY, the Pallea for two, that wasn't cheap, was terrible. The seafood was over cooked and mostly rice that was dry. Not traditional Pallea by a long shot.

Spacious restaurant with parking and great Dominican food, ? tasty. Had a steak a Caballo with tostones, it was delicious.

Good food and nice staff. The staff should know how to speak and understand basic English so that they can understand more what the customers want. Some staff does know how to speak and understand English. That I think can help customers about their orders. But overall, very nice staff and very good food! Recommended!?

I wish I could give zero stars for the terrible experience I had at Caridad. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with disrespect by one of the workers who made openly racist remarks, talking down to me like I didn’t even deserve to be there. What made this even worse was the fact that the manager was nearby and did absolutely *nothing*.

I tried to escalate the issue to the lady at the front register, only for her to brush it off, saying “I’m not the manager, talk to him.” I was shocked to find out the manager was there the whole time, witnessing everything, yet still didn’t step in. When I finally spoke to him directly, he clearly didn’t take my complaint seriously at all.

This kind of behavior is unacceptable. No one should have to experience racism, especially in a public place. It’s incredibly disheartening that the management at Caridad allows this type of toxic behavior to go unchecked. If you value respect and dignity, avoid this place.
