Nice, friendly place but the Irish coffee was so-so. The fish and chips meal was okay but not great, same for the shepherd's pie. One friend had the corned beef sandwich and said it was very good, and so was his pint of Guinness.

I always walk right past this place it reminds me of the Blarney Stone bars they used to have. We used to go there after work downtown manhattan. It's clean people are friendly This sandwich is amazing. I'm only going to be able to eat half of it. It's a real Irish Restaurant I'm loving it. As my daughter's birthday is St. Patrick's Day 317 baby all the way.

Bartender was a gentleman. He interacted with ALL his customers. No small talk. Had a wide range of topics we spoke of. Gets to know his customers. I ordered the same drink and both was done the same. Color ice taste. Cheers ?

I've lived in the area for many, many years and have driven by Katie's millions of times, always saying 'we've got to try that place...." Well, finally did so last evening. What a nice experience. Menu is quite good. Bar was busy with regulars. The Irish-American vibe was spot-on. The food was excellent and the portions large. The service was fast and friendly and professional. It looked to possibly be a family operation (a good thing, of course) with a couple of younger ladies helping out. Will certainly be returning!

I went there with family and the waitress helped herself to a 30% tip on my uncles check when he said no tip. He was prepared to pay in cash the service was lame and the food was tateless…So if you needed the 10% that bad and steal, I hope it goes a really long way for you… what a horrible experience thanks to your waitress at Katie’s Cottage ??
