La Calle 40 is a lowkey spot and an undercover gem in Yonkers, serving absolutely top tier Peruvian food. The food is amazing, tastes fresh and clean, with great flavor and great portion sizes. Dishes like the ceviche mixto, chaufa mixta, Lomo Saltado, and Pollo a la Brasa are must-try items, with the chicken noted as being especially exceptional. The salsa verde is very good. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is such a vibe, making for an amazing experience. The service is excellent, great, and friendly, with warm staff and a great bartender. It is a recommended hangout spot where everything makes people want to return as new regulars.
