One star..two words: FOOD POISONING.I came here for my friend’s dads birthday dinner. They had ordered the meat platter, chicken dish, and lamb and all got food poisoning. Since yesterday they’ve been vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and extreme weakness. I had ordered the salad so I wasn’t affected. Will never set foot here again. Absolutely disgusted.

Extensive menu of Greek traditional favorites. Waiter was inattentive and dismissive - ordered the calamari platter specifically asking if it came grilled to which he replied, 'yes'. Got a plate full of carbs with breaded calamari (just what I DIDN'T want), rice and pita bread. I don't think he was listening to me - I could tell at the time. Never saw him again until flagging him down for check. Positives were the Greek salad and delish dressing (need that recipe). Ambience nice too except for the too loud music.

I usually go to the original but missed the exit. I've been here before. I placed 2 orders, there was no Tzatziki sauce and the amount of meat vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes and onions) was minimal. It has always been a much fuller gyro. Might seek other options in the future...

This is my go to Greek food restaurant! The food is always delicious. The serving size of each dish will leave you stuffed so come hungry. The gyro sandwich and platter are always stuffed And delicious. Our favorite appetizer is the calamari which always comes fresh and lightly breaded. I definitely recommend for a family to come and share a few dishes. Enjoy and happy eating ✌?

This restaurant is a well known GEM!! A wonderful restaurant that has sooooo many delicious foods, drinks & desserts to offer....perfect for any date night or just Girls night out! Whatever the occasion! The service was superb and there's ample parking.

Seriously the BEST Greek food in Yonkers... I always get the chicken solvuki platter it’s amazing but this time I got lamb chops and WOW! Grilled to perfection. What makes this place even better is the service, we’ve been here at least 5 times over the years and each time the service gets better and better in this day and age it’s super rare to get exceptional service so it’s even more rare to have not just good, but exceptional service everytime. Never charge me for extra taziki or pita which I LOVE I hate when restaurants get greedy and want to charge for everything. Long story short this will become your new favorite, it’s definitely mine!

Staff was friendly and courteous. Drink and food order arrived in good time and presentation was good. Had the scod with spinach and yellow rice. Scop was okay. Spinach was extremely dry and only palatable by eating with the fish. Wouldn't go again. The mudslide was disgusting. Don't waste your time.

The food is good but the service sucks. A simple request and they acted like it would kill the cook. I ordered the the gyro platter and asked that the gyro be wrapped....i was given more excuses. I just found that to be ridiculous. Oh and yes I ended up having to pay for everything a la carte, spent about $15 more for the same exact meal, only because I wanted my gyro from the "platter" wrapped. I gave the place another try, walked in, ordered a gyro sandwich. The girl took my order came back in 2 mins, I took my food, went home. I was not expecting the gyro meat to be cold. Who does that? Last time I checked, the gyro meat is hot, alil crunchy in some areas, not this gyro.

None of the reviewers here must know good Greek food. The quality of the chicken gyro meat was awful - tasteless spam-like texture. Not chicken on a spit shaved off like you would expect at any quality place. Nice staff, awful food experience.

Dinner at Lefteris is delicious, food is fresh. Staff is friendly and the ambiance is great. Presentation is impeccable and it is always a delight to either snack there or have a meal. And the location is very convenient too. Have been coming here for a while and will continue to visit it.
