I visit New York several times a year and on most of my visits, I make sure I dine at Nawabs. Excellent food, service, ambiance and very courteous and helpful staff.
I have tried their Pakistani, Indian and Chinese cuisines and loved them all for their freshness and taste.
All of the grilled options e.g., Seekh kabab, Boti and Tikka are over the top. I also love Lahori fried fish and Daal Makhani. In Chinese, try their fried rice with Haka Chilli Chicken and you would love the freshness and taste of fried rice and the punch of spices in the Chilli chicken.
In desserts, don't miss their kheer, it tastes like khoya and smells like saffron. I am sure they spend a long time cooking it!

Nawab has the best garlic naan you’ll ever taste. It’s fluffy and buttery and so dang good.
The food is incredibly fresh and authentic. The rice’s texture is exquisite.
I love to get a chai and chat with the owners while the food gets made.
If she tells you it’s spicy, it’s SPICY.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with friendly staff, amazing food and gorgeous art. This restaurant has a selection of Pakistani, Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine. The flavors were amazing. We had homemade Naan, Mughlai Chai, Achari Handi Chicken. We also had Pani Puri. The flavors were amazing. - a good cross between cultures - with flavors that are sometimes boarding on Middle East and sometimes Indian with a little china flair.
This is a great place for a couple, family or large or small group. Lots of options for vegan, vegetarian or gluten free.

We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for the past four years, but our recent experience was extremely disappointing. The food served to us was clearly old and not freshly prepared — nothing tasted fresh or made to order. Every dish lacked the quality and flavor we were used to.
It’s unfortunate that after taking full payment upfront, the restaurant served food that felt reheated and poorly handled. This is completely unlike the standards we’ve come to expect from them over the years.
We truly hope the Owner takes this feedback seriously and returns to the quality and freshness that once made this place one of our favorites.

This is a disgraceful establishment with zero integrity. We made a phone reservation for the Iftar buffet and paid $216.75 deposit upfront. We were under the clear impression that, like any standard buffet, this included drinks and chai (it did not & lady at the front desk said we did that last year).
Despite charging a premium price of $26.99+tax per adult (anyone 10+) and 50% for kids (under 10), they had the audacity to nickel-and-dime us for every single thing. They charged us extra for cans of soda at the table, and when we asked about chai, they told us that was an additional cost as well.
Food options were mediocre and service was slow. It felt like trouble requesting water refill at the table, we had 3 tables for 30.
It is truly shameful that this institution has no fear of Allah and feels comfortable scamming fellow Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan. To take a huge deposit and then hit guests with hidden costs for basic drinks is dishonest and greedy. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers and understands the spirit of Iftar. Total scam.

This place has to be my favorite Pakistani Indian Restaurant, my personal favorites were the Chicken Karahi and Chicken Seekh Kebab. Both these dishes were really fresh and had great flavor, I also loved their Carrot Halwa which reminded me of home and I must say the quality of all the food was outclass.

Not only was the food delicious, but the portion sizes were generous, and the presentation made everything even more inviting. This is the kind of food that warms your heart as much as it satisfies your appetite. If you’re craving genuine Pakistani cuisine that’s both comforting and unforgettable, this is absolutely the place to go. Highly recommended!

I visited this Pakistani restaurant with my family, and we ended up leaving without eating anything. The moment we walked in, the place was completely empty. The buffet looked like it had been sitting out all day and it looked so old, and dry.
To make things worse, before we even entered, people approached us in the parking lot asking for money. It made the whole experience feel uncomfortable and unsafe.
Based on what we saw, we had no confidence in the food or the environment. We left right away and will not be returning. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.
