I visited Sandy’s cafe in Yonkers, It’s a nice place to eat good food. The prices don’t seem expensive to me since the food is of quality

Cute little spot in Ridge Hill with a cozy vibe and friendly service. I ordered the beef empanada and a smoothie. The empanada was rich, flavorful, and satisfying—definitely enjoyable, though just a touch on the salty side. The smoothie looked great but tasted a bit plain for my liking—could’ve used a stronger fruit flavor or a little sweetener. Still, a nice casual cafe with charm, and probably the only option other than the Starbucks.

This place is awful. I got a hazelnut ice coffee from the menu and I made clear I want black nothing in it. After taking my first big sip, it had so much sugar in it that I informed the lady behind the counter that I’m very sorry but I asked for my coffee black. She replied with, it’s simple syrup hazel nut and that’s how they make their iced coffee. I said, I’m sorry I honestly cannot drink that can I get another coffee because I can’t have sugar. She said, it’s sugar free. I said that I do not want anything in my coffee can I just get a black coffee and she replied with “yes, If you pay for another one”! Seriously, the coffee that I can’t drink was $10 you want me to pay another $10 and she said yes, it was already made!
Shock, is all I can say! For your bad $10 coffee that you preferred an upset customer and bad review. Congratulations on bad management and terrible customer service.

I regret spending $10 on a breakfast platter at Sandy’s Cafe that consisted of two pieces of dried bacon, powdered scrambled eggs, and cold whole wheat toast with a clump of butter. I asked no home fries she said oh no it doesn’t come with it. I said dinners are generous with their portions. She said they use products that are not healthy. What is healthy about powdered eggs and margarine. Very disappointing. I guess it’s dinner food from now on.

The food is delicious but the owner forgot to put my food order in, then rushed it when she realized and my empanadas were cold when I went to eat them. Very disappointing, especially since it took up my entire break just to get the food when the place was empty.

My husband and I with our child came in the other day and ordered a wrap and smoothie. The cashier was not wearing gloves when making our wrap and drink and continued to take customers orders and money without washing her hands. All three of us got extremely sick the next day, not to mention we were traveling. In addition, the cashier may have been ill, since she was very spaced out. Will never come here again.

Outrageously overpriced and stingy with ingredients. I bought a bacon egg and cheese. The total came out to $12. They were three pieces of bacon in the sandwich.

I GOT FOOD POISONING -
Had an omelette just the other day and it was fine, came with toast so that's good. Took a bit too long for my food to come out in my opinion. A few hours later I got food poisoning and the omelette is the only thing I ate, so there's only one culprit. Plus the omelette was what I saw when I was throwing up. I'm sorry, but I don't think I will be back.

I've eaten here twice because it's right by the medical offices. Both times, the coffee was abysmal and both times the bizarrely unseasoned food was made as if the person who prepared it was from Mars. An entire whole hard boiled egg in a sandwich? A hummus wrap with egg served hot with fully hot wilted lettuce as if it was microwaved whole? HOT LETTUCE?! A 15 minute wait... I just paid $25 for a hot soggy lettuce wrap with half a small spoonful of hummus and a latte that tasted like it was made with used medium roast grinds and filtered through an old cocoa bean burlap sack. What a ripoff. Prime location rip offery. 👎🏽👎🏽

Great place to go for a quick bite. I also love to sit down and enjoy a club sandwich. The staff is so nice. I haven't had anything that I didn't like!

Bad customer service , the food comes frozen and it’s overpriced for no reason when they’re literally just heating it up . The owner treats her workers bad and doesn’t even pay them , the owner takes advantage. Very bad experience DO NOT COME HERE

I usually don’t leave reviews… but this place is super cute inside and very “homey” but i was on my lunch break ordered 2 empanadas. One chicken and one cheese. The nice lady gave me 2 cheese … Fine cool i went back and just got a chicken empanada instead and it was super cold in the inside i could cry because i’m so hungry ?…. i am a very understanding person but for their prices on my lunch break absolutely not. They will not be seeing me again

The food and the drinks were decent and price was not bad neither but it was hard to fully enjoy it after you’ve seen a roach crawling on the floor in front of you. The worker was gracious enough to kill and dispose of it but the mental damage was already done. Not to mention there was food all over the floor and the tables were clearly not wiped down the place was very un kept and there were insects all over the place. Probably won’t be back.
