Uno Pizzeria & Grill

Sad to see an email from Uno Insider Club stating the Yonkers location is closing. I remember it first opening in the early 90s and going with my uncle and aunt who were applying for a job there. The deep dish pizzas were always great. They also had kids make your own pizza for free a few times a year and I had great memories from taking my kids to that. Went last night as a party of 4 with my sister, mother, and wife. Got seated fast and server came in good time to take our orders and drinks. When bringing food out he did not bring my wife's order of shrimp. He said it was coming. Took at least 10 min after we got our food to come. We asked him in the middle of it what the hold up was. It’s a chain so you can’t expect much different at one location or another but this one has been there a while and is run pretty well. Some of their food is a little too heavy but mostly everything for this type of place it’s good and we like it better than similar chain restaurants.
