I have attended two Coffee Ceremonies!! The croissant so informative; Ron and Nardos are very special people with a passion to share this wonderful ceremony with others. We Americans have a lot to learn about hospitality and genuinely connecting with others through this Ethiopian tradition!!

The doro wot (chicken stew) is absolutely amazing. I even liked the kale salad, and I’ve never been much of a kale fan.

We were blown away by the food. Definitely check this place out. And don't just get coffee!

When it was my turn to order I was asked to wait 5 minutes which was completely understandable with how busy they were. People behind me were grumbling but I’ve worked in the coffee industry and know that sometimes things get hectic. I got up and ordered. They were out of change so I had to wait to pay until they had more ones which again is totally fine. I made sure to give a good tip because I know on days like that it can be rough dealing with impatient customers. I got two drinks in my order. My mom and I got the same exact thing except I ordered decaf due to breastfeeding but when I received our drinks mine looked nothing like hers. I asked if there was possibly a mistake and I was told that when you order decaf that it comes without cold foam and some other things that were in the regular. There was no sign that said this and I was not informed that they would be different when ordering. When I tried to ask for what I ordered the employees were very rude about how I should have known better when ordering when there was no way for me to know. I don’t know if this was the fault of the employees or the business itself but the whole thing was very deceptive. I spent the same exact total of money on my drink only to not receive what was advertised and less than what my mom got with her regular order. P.S. I specifically ordered the drink I did because I wanted the cold foam. I should add that the drink itself was delicious but customer service is an important part of doing business. The takeaway is don’t deceive your customers and then treat them poorly for not going along with your deceit.

My first visit was during a local food festival (although I have known about and have been following them on social media for years). You definitely could taste the quality of the coffee in every sip of my salted caramel iced coffee. It was perfectly made and needed no extra sugar or sweetener of any kind. I would most definitely go out of my way to get this drink again. My only complaint is that I couldn't get a larger size.
