It's a great place. I've been frequenting this establishment since I was eleven years old, I'm now sixty eight years old and I still eat there and I just love there cole slaw. They know me well, when I walk in, they'll ask "cole slaw "? You should try it! And there foot long with there unique sauce with onions and mustard , the huge onion rings. You're gonna love 'em! Stop by.
Akron Establishment. Reopened with new ownership and new prices. Sandwiches were fair-good, but they were stingy on the fries and it was super expensive $$$$! 2 - Nightmare baskets and two footings $36? There are other $9 burger places in Akron but they're not located in South-Central. Part of the cost is location and ambience I'd bet 85% of there Corral's business is drive up/carryout. The ambience is the front seat of my Chevy.
Tasty, But A Bit Pricey The Corral has been a favorite of mine, going back to some of my earliest memories in the very early 70's. I especially liked the coneys, onion rings and their nightmare sandwich! After a several month stretch of being closed, I found that almost everything is still the same, except the coney sauce. It's a fair approximation, but not nearly as good as the previous recipe. Or maybe it was just that day. I'll give it another try, I'm sure....
