I placed a pickup order through DoorDash and arrived at the suggested time. The place was completely empty, but I still waited a good 5–10 minutes before anyone even came out from the back.
When I got home and opened the food, I was disgusted. Everything was cold to the touch! The sausage was barely cooked, had a weird gray color, and looked slimy. The burrito was cold to the touch — I had to take it apart and cook it myself just to make it edible.
To top it off, the crepe was completely inedible. It tasted like a slimy tortilla filled with old, mushy strawberries. And the French Toast was just burnt bread with a chunky white topping. Absolutely awful.
Worst $50 I’ve ever spent! I don’t know how this place is still in business!

i want to give dennys a 10/10 for the the phenominal dinner/breakfast i had it was amazing also i wanna thank Janice R. for my service she was a fantastic worker at providing me service the food was divine best sunny side up eggs i ever gotten from dennys and the french toast omg melt in your mouth perfect all around best dennys in akron

Michelle from howe Rd was a great late night server. She was very respectful and kind, I told her the handle to the door had something on it that was pretty nasty and she grabbed a rag and spray and went out and cleaned the door handles as I waited for my food. That's great service amd a great experience.
My fault for going during third shift…the other shifts are fine, but 3rd is…..yeaaaaa..
Last time I went , we had to literally seat ourselves to get noticed . 2 simple breakfasts are ordered. We wait and about 30 mins pass by with nothing but our single drink we got before.
At this time a group of 6 ppl come in and sit to my right side a few tables away. They seemed normal at first but then one of the girls with them just starts throwing up pure alcohol right on the floor , she couldn’t even stand to go to the bathroom and couldn’t even speak.
Of course my appetite is completely gone now, and I get up with my girl and go to the complete opposite side of the restaurant. The waitress went over to the other groups table, took orders while completely ignoring the puddle of bile and alcohol on the ground like it was a regular thing. Nobody grabbed a mop or anything at all.
To top it all off, the group with the sick girl got up, and seemingly moved directly next to me and my girl on the new spot, when they could have went to any other area in the entire restaurant . They seemed to get mad that we moved away from them and wanted to annoy us now on purpose, now being extremely loud.
10 seconds later I straight get up and leave with my girl as I cannot fathom another millisecond there. As we are walking out (food still hasn’t come out yet) another couple walked in, and the manager told them they were closed when the store is literally 24/7.
Never, ever, EVER going back to this location ever again. Shame on all of you

This franchise is a far cry from its glory days in the 80's and 90's in terms of flavor, uniqueness, and social relevance, but gosh-golly-darn-gee-willikers they have a loyal following for a reason: they're hitting with options others can't compete with during the late night circuit at prices that suit the genre! This particular store has its ups and downs when it comes to hospitality and timely service, but they still serve well through the night and roll with the a.m. crowd, so they're doing something right!
