Eddies Famous Cheesesteaks And Grille

We tried Eddie's for the first time today, we ordered from the truck at Stricklands. Looking over the menu I thought it seemed a little pricey but we decided to order anyway, I am so glad we did, the crew was very kind and helpful, our food was amazing and the portions were huge ! I couldn't finish half of it. Two meals for the price of one ! The cheese steak was amazing and those fries , they reminded me of the ones my Mom made when I was a kid. We'll definitely order again .

One of the best sandwiches can get anywhere. The fries are also top tier. The people are also nice to you and smile when they take your order after they welcome you to the restaurant. That’s right they take your order and smile, no AI, no touch screen to enter your own order.
Everything is made fresh and the place is spotless.

The cheesesteaks were amazing! I think the secret must be the caramelized onions on the meat. Or it could be the cheese. Either way, they were delicious!

First time in and very impressed. Maybe the best cheesesteaks I've had. And curry ketchup!

Absolutely love this place!!! The food is always fantastic!! The service is amazing...always service with a smile! They go out of their way to make sure everything is 110% for their customers!!

Been here a few times. I've yet to be disappointed. One time, I'm pretty sure it was the owner/operator/line cook/accountant& namesake who made my lunch. And he made absolutely certain that we were pleased with our order.
p.s. The available custom house sauces are really good. (And I'm kind of a snob about sauces & coffee.)

I came into Ohio for the first time in 5 years and drove 6 hrs to visit family.

I decided to pick up some cheesesteaks from Eddie's to take to my mother for lunch before hitting the road back to home.

You can tell there is a lot of local pride in this establishment.

I ordered a couple of full cheesesteaks, fries, reuben balls.

As I waited I started to look at old pictures on the wall and realized I was looking at Ed himself.

I love meeting a passionate business owner and he was so generous.

Before I left he thanked me for coming and even gifted me a NORKA soda (Akron spelled backwards) and told me to take cookies and hot cocoa.

The service interaction was wonderful and I definitely chose the right place to pick up lunch.

Eddie’s on South Main is simply delicious. I have been in multiple times and these are the best cheesesteaks in Northeast Ohio. Maybe west of Philly. On this day I added the giardiniera. The Fries are also something out of the Medina County Fair.
