Eddies Famous Cheesesteaks And Grille

I live walking distance from here and the food is indeed fabulous, they have normal soda which i love especially the root beer, the ONLY complaint I would have is the hours are weird and short, 11-7 on the days they are open is frustrating because that's hours I work so I can barely get a chance to get there for the food. It's super close to me but I've only been able to go two or three times in the last couple months because of the hours, otherwise I'd be going every week. Most other restaurants in downtown are open until 9-10 especially with all the events going on but man i hope they change their hours so I can go more.

(No I am not paying double price for doordash to walk it down the block and deliver half eaten food, doordash is terrible)

Everything about Eddie's is amazing! The cheesesteaks (I suggest the Gotcha), their Slammers, the fries, even the custom ketchup selections. We've always had great, friendly service as well. A true asset to Akron!

The best service I’ve had in a while. Superb service and friendly people.

Great and flavorful subs. I used to get these all the time when he had his food truck posted up at Akron’s downtown club Zar for late night. I haven’t had them for a while bc I live out of town but I happened to be in town and made sure to stop at Eddie’s famous cheesesteaks. Got two large subs and large fries and came out to $35. Eddie himself was even there and made them for us. He still looks the same! Doesn’t age at all with his young self. The restaurant is clean and kept well. Great location.

We had the Eddie’s food truck at a work event tonight - my first time trying the food and I am speechless! Hands down the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. I’m already looking forward to my next Eddie’s experience. :)

Rude to customers. Steak and cheese is bland. Beware if you’re picking up a DoorDash here you’ll wait over 30 minutes.

Eddies is an Akron institution of sanwichery. Fresh, hot, consistent. My favorite cheesesteak ever and cheesesteaks are my favorite sandwich. Delicious fresh cut fries. I hope they stay open for 100 years. Nobody loves Akron the way Eddie does!
