Heera Indian Cuisine in Akron, Ohio was an okay experience overall. The food was decent, but nothing really stood out enough to elevate the visit. Service was subpar, though not bad—just a bit inattentive. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable, but not particularly inspiring or memorable.
We ordered the Mysore Chutney Masala Dosa and the Paneer Biryani. The dosa didn’t quite meet our expectations, at least for our tastes. The Paneer Biryani, however, had good flavor and was the highlight of the meal—we would definitely order that again.
Pricing felt slightly on the higher side, but not out of line with what restaurants are charging these days. While I probably wouldn’t return, Heera is still worth trying if you’re looking for a place with a wide variety of options, especially different dosa offerings.

First time being in the Akron area and tried this place on a whim. AMAZING!!! The food was perfect, and the staff was very kind. Our food came out quick and tasted very fresh. I ordered the Chicken Kadai and it was just what I hoped for - great flavor and tender meat, with nice big pieces of veggies, and a perfect amount of rice to go with it. The Limca soda I ordered was delicious too, so glad I tried it! I went with a group of friends and they all had similarly pleasant experiences. Will definitely be back!

Best buttered chicken I’ve ever had. I got it with the garlic naan and it was incredible. The sauce was flavorful and the chicken cooked perfectly, and the waitress was kind and attentive. Incredible resteraunt

This was the worst food I have had in a long time at any Indian restaurant. Heera Indian Cuisine is a total waste of money – bland food, disappointing flavors, and zero satisfaction. For the prices they charge in this location, you expect real taste and proper Indian cooking, but what you get feels careless and cheap. I would never come back here and would strongly suggest trying literally any other Indian place nearby instead of wasting your time and money at this on

I had the pleasure of trying the Mandhi Biryani at Heera Indian Cuisine and truly enjoyed it. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of gentle flavors. The rice was aromatic and perfectly balanced with spices. The garnish added a lovely touch to the dish. Everything was presented neatly and tasted fresh. It felt like a comforting, well-made meal. I would happily order it again.❤️❤️❤️

No frills. Delicious. If you ask for “hot” it will be very spicy.

I got the chettinad curry. It was incredible. All of the food here is delicious. I've not had Indian cuisine that was this delicious before. If you're in the area, I highly recommend. If you're not in the area, come to the area just for this place.

The service was great. I will say, if you are vegan, do not rely on that (just saying it) as an understanding. It was better when I said specifically no animal milk, yogurt, no egg, meat, etc. The food was tasty and flavorful. I ordered the coconut rice, tofu wrap and masala fries, Indian cola, and veggie samosas. Everything was great except the rice. It just was not a strong enough coconut flavor for me. Overall, I am definitely returning.

Been to this place 3 times and the food has been consistently delicious.
The veg samosa's are are piping hot and packed with flavor! The gobi Manchurian is definitely one of my faves. And both the lamb and chicken wraps are delish. Never have I seen those on an Indian menu but it does not disappoint!!
They are a must if you love some good flavor
