Hands down best Authentic southern style comfort food around!! Highly recommend the soul rolls!! You won’t be disappointed! The ribs were delicious and fall right off the & the Mac n cheese & dirty rice were absolute perfection!! Generous portions as well!! One of Akron’s best kept secrets!!!!
Waterloo Rd location: Mac n cheese was made with overcooked pasta - it tasted like mush. The catfish coating was overpowering and didn't have any flavor, just crunchy. The wings were flavorless as well. They forgot part of my order and when I tried calling the phoneline was busy. The customer service is terrible. The cashier was playing on her phone, in her hair and came in from outside and went in the kitchen messing with food without washing her hands. Still never received...
I ordered two rib dinners. One with cabbage and baked beans and the other with mac and cheese with baked beans. The ribs was nice and tendered and the BBQ sauce was really good with a little tang, the baked beans was very good but I do have to say that their mac and cheese was the nastiest I’ve ever eaten. It was slightly over cooked and did not have no flavor or seasoning at all. There was barely melted cheese but you couldn’t even taste the cheese. I would not recommend...
