I’m from Indiana, had been looking for a good soul food spot. Found Nephews on Google. I had the rib dinner w/ potato salad & mac/cheese. The food didn’t even make it out of the parking lot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 12 out of 10. 💯
Hands down best Authentic southern style comfort food around!! Highly recommend the soul rolls!! You won’t be disappointed! The ribs were delicious and fall right off the & the Mac n cheese & dirty rice were absolute perfection!! Generous portions as well!! One of Akron’s best kept secrets!!!!
Waterloo Rd location: Mac n cheese was made with overcooked pasta - it tasted like mush. The catfish coating was overpowering and didn't have any flavor, just crunchy. The wings were flavorless as well. They forgot part of my order and when I tried calling the phoneline was busy. The customer service is terrible. The cashier was playing on her phone, in her hair and came in from outside and went in the kitchen messing with food without washing her hands. Still never received...
