My friend is a vegetarian and so is the owner so she decided to make my friend a dish I can't even tell you the name of, Bok Choy, I think. I'm not a vegetarian and I loved it. This is probably going to be my new favorite restaurant, and that's with no sauce on that statement.

Used to be my favorite place i mean the only place to get Great Jamaican Authentic Food, Not sure if they're going out of Business but its been a Week they havent been open, They've left a Note on the door for delivery and No one ever Answers... Poor way to run a Business... Im greatly Disappointed.

The j*** chicken is the bomb with an awesome kick to it. Good portion sizes too.

Let start by saying the food I received was not authentic at all. I am not sure if it was end of the batch or night...but I was expecting some resolution for the amount of money we spent. We went there and ordered brown stew pork and then a brown stew chicken. What we received was food that seemed to be old and over cooked. There was a large brown bed of rice, that was mushy, then the cabbage was brown and tasted burned. The curry chicken patty was so hard and dry we could not bite it. The owner proceeded to tell me that the cabbage was not burned, that it's supposed to be brown, that her food is great, and that she doesn't understand old, burned food, and over cooked rice!!! They do not serve goat, and oxtails every other month! I was expecting bring it back let's start over...guess not. We ended up throwing it out and went for wings somewhere else.

Even during the chaotic construction in the area, we wanted to go check out this place. When we went there wasn't anyone else there so we didn't feel too rushed at the counter, which is where you place your order. The young woman that took our order was very helpful and gave us good descriptions of the different items. Because we love Thai food and knew this curry would be different, I had my son try some before he ordered, just in case. He gave it a try and didn't really love it. My daughter ordered the j*** pork and really loved it. The spice level was spot on and as she imagined. I ordered the chicken frikazee and we all thought that my meal was the best of the three. It wasn't spicy or anything but we all loved the sauce. I think it came with two thighs but there wasn't too much meat. I ordered mine as a small, which would be proportionate to the meat serving, but be sure to ask if more comes in the medium. I loved the cabbage that came with the meal! I thought their prices were a little on the high side, but can appreciate all that goes into their food. Plus, they are the only place around that serves Jamaican food as far as I know. We would go again for sure. Hopefully they will have some of their desserts available. When we were there they didn't have anything.

Love their food. Make sure your good with spice. It's not fast food though so let them take their time in preparing your meal.

Everything was so delicious! They were a little heavy handed with the pepper but other than that amazing. We ordered the j*** chicken and brown stew. We got small orders and still took food home.We will be back!

I've been obsessed with Jamaican food since visiting the island years ago. So many places say they have "Jamaican" food or "***** but it fails in comparison to the real thing...well, not this place. In fact, this is BETTER than all the food I've ever had in Jamaica combined. It's out of this world! The pork is insane and the rasta stew isn't your mama's steamed cabbage...Give this placr a try. Save yourself $4000 on a trip to Jamaica. This place is BETTER!

I ate there today in the food and the service was absolutely amazing. I was going to go to another restaurant, but the server was rude saying, "We close soon" a full hour before they closed, and he wasn't nice about it.

I came here on a whim. The Flavor Grille cook was rude, so I decided to come to Pots and Pans in Akron and oh my God. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and so is the owner so she decided to make my girlfriend a dish I can't even tell you the name of, Bok Choy, I think. I'm not a vegetarian and I loved it. This is probably going to be my new favorite restaurant, and that's with no sauce on that statement. I don't even like spicy food and the j*** chicken is burning my mouth and I'm still Loving It. Five stars all day long.
