Very nice place with good food, pianist and friendly bar tender and servers. Easy street parking. Everyone enjoyed their meals - salmon, chicken, veggie burger and pork chop. We will definitely do it again!

Our server was great. Drinks were strong. Food was delicious. Piano was at the perfect volume to still have a conversation at the table. I would definitely like to come back and stay at the hotel connected to the restaurant.

Only three tables served, so everything was slow-motion. Fairly good, new server; other staff were not at all welcoming. Salads are large, but lobster mac small portion at $17.50 was very small indeed. Chicken entrée was good-sized, well prepared. Prices are a bit high: $90 with tax and tip for basic meal without dessert.

Best staff ever. Felt like I was catching up with my family, they were all so kind, conversational and hospitable. Drinks were perfect (ask the bartender Shawn about his artwork). Food was decadent and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place.

Three people in our party enjoyed the quiet ambience and cool live jazz guitar on Saturday. Our waiter, Brian, took great care of us. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed a relaxing evening. I would highly recommend the salmon with the house salad, my friends enjoyed the (real) lobster Mac and cheese. Definitely going back.

Waiter was wonderful, but inexcusably over-worked. 15 minute wait for drinks. Menu was nothing more than a glorified Applebees. Burgers, wings, dips, and salads, with a duck confit thrown in??? Quite a change from our visit a year ago. Probably not returning.

We had an enjoyable time at 1 Food & Spirits. The ambiance was great, the food delicious, and Julie, our server, was great. Since we're from out of town, we look forward to making reservations next year.
Excellent food, we had the pork chop and salmon. Great Cabernet Sauvignon. Jazz pianist played the whole time in the corner but it was a nice volume level. Julie our server was outstanding. Perfect stop before heading over to EJ for a show, got us in and out in a little over an hour. Looking forward to the next time!

The only reason that I didn't rate this restaurant five is that the service seemed a little inexperienced and there seemed to be some confusion about our reservation. We loved the atmosphere and the food so we will definitely go back to try some of the other things on the menu that looked so good!
