Very disappointed that the prime rib special was gone before 6. They served them all at Pix downstairs for the boat show. It took over an hour to get our food in a half filled restaurant. Doubt we will be there again.
Had a lovely lunch today! Our waitress/bartender did a great job and was very helpful and gave great suggestions. Quite atmosphere and nice music overlooking portage lakes. Seafood was great! Had perch dinner and citrus salad but with the Ahi tuna instead of shrimp. Also had the lobster bisque which was delicious.Only strange thing was we were charge extra for the butter ($.49) and sour cream ($.49) with our baked potato. Never had to pay extra for butter when you order a baked potato that was included with the dinner. Tartar sauce came with fish, but it was mentioned on the menu. Guess it was our fault for assuming because side baked potato didn’t say with butter?
I loved the view of the lake! I ordered a burger cooked medium but came out charcoal. The chicken was not edible that my husband & mom ordered. The nacho chip appetizer was disappointing. Prices was high for such terrible food. They were blasting the music so loud I was unable to have a conversation with my family during the hour wait for our food.
While we usually start our reviews off with a quirky, descriptive rhetorical question, our experience at this casual lakeside charmer was so good it doesn’t need one! We grant five star reviews sparingly because we want to save them for dining experiences that truly deserve them, and WOW does Table 530 fit the bill. If you decide to hit up this beautiful gem along Portage Lakes (which you should), we highly recommend making a reservation for dining experiences after five o’clock; not only are they busy, but with our reservation we were greeted by their incredibly friendly staff and seated immediately upon arriving. If you’re into alcohol beverages, you’ve got to check out their super unique cocktail menu; we tried the New Blood Orange and the Caramel Espresso and were incredibly impressed by both! For a starter, we went with the Cast Iron Mac and cannot recommend this enough. We’re always here for a good Mac and cheese, but they sometimes don’t always pack the punch we’re looking for. We can assure you, however, that Table 530’s baked white cheddar and Gouda version was more than worth it. By the time we had dug into our drinks and appetizer, we didn’t think it could possibly get any better, but were truly mistaken! For the main course, we went with the Lobster Ravioli and the Blackened Salmon Dinner. The creamy filling in the ravioli was Out. Of. This. World. And even better, it came with a little bowl of mussels tossed in their signature vodka cream sauce! The Blackened Salmon came cooked to perfection and drizzled with their delicious blue cheese cream sauce. It also came atop a serving of their smoked Gouda risotto, which somehow made the entree even BETTER. And as if the experience wasn’t perfect enough already, we ended the night sitting out on the sunshine-filled patio overlooking the beautiful Portage Lakes. Table 530 was the perfect anniversary date night experience, and we cannot wait for our next chance to stop back in!
Ordered a piled high shrimp po boy and it had 4 , 4 little shrimp it was a bread sandwich aweful never again
We visited last weekend with my parents. Will start out by saying that our waitress Crystal was excellent. They were short staffed and were out of drink glasses meaning we had to drink our beer out of the bottles, not too big of a deal. My mom had ordered the swordfish with mixed vegetables on the side. Came out with redskins which she did not like. Food runner said that the vegetables would be right out. Well, they never came and at the end of the meal we asked for a credit since she did not receive. Lindsey, the bartender/manager, came over with an attitude and informed us that we could not have her meal for free even thought that is not what we asked for. She grabbed our check and said she adjusted a side off of it. Upon looking at the check no adjustment had been made. Wasn't worth the argument so we just paid it. Food was excellent, "manager" not so much.
I would give it less if I could. We went there for drinks and appetizers before heading down to Picks. Waitress took a while to get to us on the patio even though we were seated there by hostess. Drinks came 20 minutes later but were not good and we waited 40 minutes for appetizers and eventually canceled our order as our table was ready at Picks. Terrible service all around for a place that does just drinks and appetizers. Manager did apologize and we weren't charged for the appetizers.
How underwhelming....We had good service and the atmosphere is decent but I would not go here again because of how average the food is. Most of the appetizers look and taste like frozen oven-ready snacks, and my entre also felt "cheap"
Great private party rooms! Catered food was excellent, private cash bar was awesome. Perfect for med/large group.
Nice looking place but I ordered the cioppino and it was horrible. A bunch of white dry fish and no seafood other than 4 mussels. Chunky thick tomato sauce out of a can at the best with no flavor. When this was brought up to the waitress all she said was I am sorry. Was charged full price for a dish I did not even eat.

My dad and I stopped at Table 530 for Father's Day. We sat at the bar. We ordered the calamari to start with and it was Fantastic! We also ordered the swordfish and strip steak. Everything came out perfect! The risotto is to die for. Drew was our server. She was so sweet, classy and professional. She makes a great bloody mary too. We also had the pleasure of meeting Matt whom I believe is a manager at Table 530. He was amazing! Thank you Matt, Drew and everyone else at Table 530 for helping make Father's Day so special for my Dad. I can't wait to come back again!!
We went to Table 530 at PXL on Thursday for lunch. My friend from Columbus, Ohio was in town and I wanted to dine somewhere with a water view.Drew was our waitress. Since we were the first patrons to arrive and it was our first time at their dining establishment she gave us a quick tour of the Pick's PXL dining options.I really appreciated that !There were a few mishaps with our order; but Drew was top notch through it all.Her attentiveness, pleasant personality and wonderful disposition was great !We wanted to make sure that the manager was well aware that we were very pleased with Drew as our waitress- he was busy at the time; but thanks again Drew !Table 530 - good food, nice decor and a lakeside view!
Horrible! This place managed to screw up my simple order of bourbon and a burger! Our server paid us no attention. We would order something multiple times and not receive it. She only came by every 10-15 minutes so we would have to wait and wait to ask where it was, only for it not to be delivered again.I ordered a Bulleit bourbon on the rocks. It was brought to me with a lime in it. I tried to send it back because I thought it was the wrong drink. When I asked why there was a lime in it, I was told that the bartender probably though it looked better that way. If I wanted lime flavored bourbon, I would have asked for that, at least if you add a lime, add it so it isn't in the drink itself!I ordered the mushroom swiss burger specifically for the pretzel bun. It came with a regular 25 cent, convenient store bun instead. The server said she would check on it and offered to try and remove some pricing from my bill. She then came back and told me my order wasn't wrong, that they no longer carried the pretzel buns. She agreed it said pretzel bun on the menu but said again it was meant to be made how I received it. She took nothing off my bill. When I told her I would have ordered something else she shrugged and walked away. I figured whatever, I will just eat it without the bun. WRONG! I had ordered it cooked medium. It was so overdone that the outside edges were completely burnt and hard. I tried cutting with my metal knife and had to saw through it. It was worse than a fast food burger. So basically I paid $30 to have a burnt, uneatable burger that wasn't what was on the menu, and a lime flavored bourbon. I will never, ever go back here. I strongly suggest if you are thinking of going to this place to stay away!
First off, I want to start off by saying I am a server/bartender and a shift manager at a restaurant. I am very understanding about a LOT when I go out to eat. When we first walked in, we were seated immediately. Awesome! I love that. However nobody came to our table and it had been 20 minutes at that point and i’ll admit that was very hangry. I went to the host stand to let her know that nobody has been over to us yet. She said she’ll check on that. Funny enough, the server that had been tending to the tables around us (who completely ignored us) was the one who was our server. Shocker. It was not busy at all. Maybe 7 or 8 at the most tables split between 2 servers. and a bar area with tables i’m assuming the bar was responsible for. It’s very small inside so i’m not sure what the issue was with greeting us. She had been to and checked on (multiple times) the tables around us while we sat and waited for even a “hi i’ll be right with you”.While we were waiting, a table was seated right by us and was greeted before their rear ends even hit their chairs. Okay......I ordered a wedge salad with no bleu cheese and a baked potato. Boyfriend ordered a steak sandwich (med rare) and a drink. Our food took 40 minutes to come out... I understand places being short staffed but like I said, it was not busy at all.... and it was a salad and a medium rare steak sandwich. Not only that but everything was wrong. My salad came loaded with bleu cheese... okay no biggie i’ll scrape it off because I didn’t want to wait another 40 minutes for a remake. The kitchen doesn’t always see or pay attention to modifications or the server messed up. It happens. But the entire salad was.... warm. Imagine a salad sitting outside in the sun for a half hour. The baked potato tasted like it had sat in a warmer for multiple days and didn’t even come with butter on it or on the side. Think of a baked potato at golden coral, the ones that sit all day and are reused the next day if not eaten. Couldn’t even eat half of it. The steak sandwich clearly states on the paper menu we ordered from AND online that it comes with a homemade horsey sauce. The entire sandwich was mostly bun, a small VERY dry “steak” and some onions thrown on it. My boyfriend ate it anyways because he was hungry, even after we asked the server if the sandwich is supposed to have a sauce and she said she’ll ask the kitchen, and then said the kitchen said no. Interesting.Would’ve been nice if there was a manager around to speak to. I HATE to be the person to complain but they should know what’s wrong and what’s happening and what needs fixed. As we were leaving, I saw the servers and the host standing off to a little room with a curtain, gathered together and talking. Guess that’s why it took so long to be greeted and our food was wrong. Me and my parents liked to go eat here a lot in the summer and sit outside. We’ve never had a problem before. We took ourselves downstairs and outside where we were INSTANTLY greeted by a super sweet and nice server from Locals and had a MUCH better experience there.
We ordered 2 meals. Waitress said they each come with a single side. Both the Chicken and seafood had zero taste. We asked for some sauce. When we got the bill, we were charged for 2 sides and for 2 sauces on the side. I am surprised they did not charge for ICE in our drinks.
