I dined here for the first time Friday night with a friend of mine. The food, drinks and the young man playing the piano were excellent. We thought the service would be great as the waiter seemed friendly. However, the service was average. Not once did our waiter (his first name has been mentioned in other reviews recently on your page) come back to check on us to see if we were enjoying our meal, nor did he ask if we needed our drinks refilled (including water) until it was time for us to leave. We noticed that he went to other tables multiple times that were seated after us. We were very disappointed. If I return in the future, I will ask to be seated in another section.

We were excited to try this restaurant and really wanted to like it, but we ended up being disappointed. The atmosphere would be nice, with the city bustle outside and the piano, but the tables along the exterior wall are so close together that you can barely squeeze between them. Maybe 18" between the tables. Hard to enjoy a meal when you feel like you are dining with strangers. The food was also underwhelming. We ordered house salads and the pasta. They were busy (weekend before Valentines Day), but the food took forever and when it did arrive it looked like it had been sitting for a while. Portions were small and quality was not great. We both left hungry. I realize this is a "hotel restaurant", but it is marketed as upscale dining. If you are considering a nice date night out, there are much better options.

If you are seated in Bryan's section, kindly ask to be re-seated. He was incredibly rude in addition to saying they didn't have a drink that was clearly on their drink menu. Albeit I gave him an 18.6 percent tip given his chosen profession. The food was good.

Breakfast here on a cold day was good. The ambiance is nice. Small menu, but the items were done well. Coffee wasn't amazing & no non dairy milk or creamer offered. Our server was sweet, but actually overly attentive. Might return.

Basing my review off of the menu and service of the NYE event. I hope they never do this again. Food took over and hour for a shortened menu. This is a very small venue. The special menu was over priced and small portions. Poor attempt at high end dining. They weren’t prepared and the execution was waaay off. $100 down the

Tried this for the first time…did not disappoint. The duck confit egg rolls and 1 burger were excellent. Drink menu was robust. Service was great, ambience spot on. Wish more people were there and don’t at the same time. Best restaurant in downtown Akron in my opinion. If you haven’t checked it out I would if I were you.

Simply put, Julie and elf costume guy (his name is Brian lol) are a 12/10! Not only are they friendly and fun, but they made customized drinks that were delicious! Highly recommend.

Very small place. We kept getting asked whether we had reservations but they did seat us at the big communal table. Service was really slow. We gave ourselves enough time for a quick meal but our server disappeared for long stretches at a time. We were ready to order food right away but she wouldn't let us put in our orders...she went away for more than 10 min getting a plate of 4 lemon slices...I had the roast chicken sesame ramen noodle dish and boy...it was not ramen noodles. No sir, it was plain instant noodles with a hella serving of ginger ginger ginger. The roast chicken part was chicken breast that was expectantly dry. It came in a shallow stone basin instead of a real bowl and there was not much broth. No egg or nothing...no scallions either...Someone ordered the flatbread and they were not impressed with the uneven drizzle, lol. The old fashioned they ordered was $16 and most of the volume came from the massive ice cube. We did enjoy the live singer and the chill atmosphere...Our friend called this place "fake fancy" due to its fun menu selection and connection to the boutique hotel but unauthentic and low quality ingredients.
Lovely atmosphere, nice bar with a great moscow mule… I had the salmon, my husband had the burger.Food was delivered quickly with a pretty presentation, and was delicious.Our server Julie was professional, friendly and helpfulWe will definitely return the next time we are in Akron.

The food was excellent, Bryan provided exceptional service and helped us choose the perfect drinks. I am local but hadn’t been down here at all and we will be back! Lovely piano music and relaxing atmosphere. A very decent price point for well crafted entrees, and creative small plates ( duck confit egg rolls, anyone??) also nice vegetarian options.
