Jennifer is the loveliest bartender, along with the owner Chris. Such a great, up-beat vibe here. The best drink selection & food menu!

Deserves ZERO stars. Everything started off great, was even going to give the (manager)(owner) a tip for good customer service and was going to be a returning customer, however I ordered a Caesar salad while on my lunch break and decided to dine in. I let the owner know that I was getting attacked by nats & it was a Nat in food so which I couldn’t finish. This man didn’t try to accommodate me or even look at the dish. He said “ I can’t control the air” “I’m not playing this game with you” & TOOK my phone which is Illegal. He took my phone, due to him feeling like I would walk out without paying. I never intended to walk out, I wanted an accommodation for not being able to FINISH my food. This man was racially profiling me being I’m a black women and so which I would walk out!!?? His attitude went from nice to very rude after I complained about my food. I will NEVER come back and I could’ve brought more business to his establishment. Really disappointed in how I was treated. Bummer. If you’re a person of color, I do not recommend coming here.

Went there for the first time on the Fourth of July and there was only one bartender working. Despite it being busy, he was so funny and personable. He made fantastic drinks and we'll definitely be going back!

Zero stars is what’s deserved here. I’m writing this review for my husband and MIL because they were too upset to even speak at length about their experience. I’ll try to keep it short. Husband took MIL for bday brunch. They said staff was rude from the start. They were told to find tables and after going to three dirty tables they found one. The restaurant wasn’t busy. There were only four other people at two tables, so there’s no reason for the poor service or food quality. Husband’s French toast was burnt, didn’t have anything on it and looked like toasted bread with barely a whisper of powder. Oh, there was a fly in his food, as well. The waiter said that’s how the French toast comes, but photos in reviews prove otherwise. MIL ordered tortellini with no customizations. It lists mushrooms on the menu. She didn’t get mushrooms. When she asked for some she was flippantly told that people ask for them to be taken out so the chef didn’t bother. The rude waiter complained about being asked for mushrooms and eventually brought a tiny bowl of uncooked mushrooms that wasn’t even worth the trouble. And the tortellini looked like scrambled eggs. MIL ordered a drink that was supposed to have grenadine in it. There wasn’t. She asked for it to be added to her drink and after a back and forth about it the waiter plopped a bottle of grenadine on the table and walked away.
My husband asked for a refund (minus the tip) for the horrible food they couldn’t eat and the waiter said “This isn’t Applebees”. We don’t eat Applebees but I imagine it would’ve been better than what they were served. MIL approached the waiter to talk about their service and before she could say a word he started waving a hand in her face saying “Byeeeee” repeatedly. Yes, they felt that the issue was with their race the whole time. MIL has a recording of the end of the interaction where they were told “Bye”. She was recording the restaurant and the waiter kept waving and saying to get him on video too. MIL and husband are kind and respectful people. My husband is a vet with ptsd and It took a lot to avoid an episode at the disgusting behavior they encountered.

Sadly a no for us. The roast beef sandwich- Three thin strips of meat tossed on a hamburger bun — and the cheese couldn’t even be bothered to melt. It was the furthest thing from the photo on the menu I have ever seen. The omelet was a flat sheet of egg folded over.
The fries were just bad — plain and simple. Not sure what the kitchen was going for, but it missed the mark.

This was a neat place to grab a bite to eat. It serves light breakfast items, lunch, and dinner. It has a full bar as well. After you are seated, you have to go to the register to place your order. There is coffee at the entrance when you enter. Service was pleasant, and the food came out quickly. It is a little pricy for lunch. For 2 people, we paid $82 for a specialty burger, shrimp and grits, devil eggs, and non-alcoholic drinks.

Had breakfast there this morning and it was great! The mini pancakes with strawberries were unique and delicious. My fiancée really enjoyed the Light and Fit. The Cafe Mocha and Chai Latte were hot and yummy as well. Very cool vibe. Definitely recommend!

We got there right before the event goers started flooding in, so we were able to enjoy the fast service and delicious food. I really liked the seasoning on the fries, and the burger was also juicy and delicious.

Mother’s Day Review – Disorganized, Understaffed, and Unacceptable
We came to The Daily Pressed on Mother’s Day with a party of 15, expecting a pleasant meal to celebrate our loved ones. What we got was the worst dining experience I’ve had in over 40 years.
The restaurant was full, but only staffed with one bartender, a newly hired server/host, and one cook. It was immediately clear they were overwhelmed and unprepared for a holiday crowd. While we tried to remain patient, the service was painfully slow.
When food began trickling out, it was lukewarm, bland, and in some cases not what we ordered. Even worse, some of our meals never made it to the table at all. When we inquired about the missing entrees, the cook came out from the kitchen and got into an argument with my son, insisting he had made the food—even though we never received it. That kind of unprofessional behavior, especially in front of a dining room full of families, is completely unacceptable.
This experience turned what should have been a joyful occasion into a stressful, frustrating one. Poor planning, lack of accountability, and terrible food quality made this visit a huge disappointment. I genuinely hope management takes this seriously and rethinks how they operate during high-volume events.

The response below from The Daily Pressed is defensive and a bit passive-aggressive. They’re trying to justify their service by pointing to an alleged unexpected increase in party size and emphasizing that the food was fresh and timely, even under pressure. They also call out a broken plate and imply that doesn’t happen in a restaurant.
Let me be clear: our reservation was exactly for 15 people, and only 16 people attended. There was no “60% increase” and no last-minute surprise. It’s extremely disappointing to see the restaurant misrepresent basic facts to avoid taking responsibility for a poor experience.
On one of the busiest dining days of the year, our group experienced:
• Unreasonably slow service
• Several meals that never arrived
• Food that was cold or inconsistent in quality
• A cook who got into a verbal altercation with one of our guests
Despite this, we remained respectful and patient. For management to respond by rewriting the story instead of addressing the legitimate concerns raised in our review is unprofessional.
We understand the challenges that come with a busy day. But what we experienced wasn’t just a delay—it was a breakdown in service and accountability. A little honesty and humility would’ve gone a lot further than trying to shift blame onto the customers.

If there was an option for no stars I would use it. Thinking what would have been a nice Mother’s Day brunch with family turned into a waste of time, money and energy. Not to mention, half of our guests were still hungry.
We were a group of 15, trying a new spot for Mother’s Day and this was the place we’d chosen due to location for everyone. We booked a few days in advance, normally when you do the establishment has appropriate staff. This was not the case at all. It was crowded and a bit loud when we walked in. No greeting upon entrance nor were we shown our table.
The place was understaffed and we waited what felt like a lifetime to get food and drinks. A few from our party were little ones and they ran out of the menu item that all the little ones wanted- it was only 1130am??? I get that it happens but 3 hours into the day doesn’t cut it.
My husband and I ordered drink first and the lady at the bar said she’d bring them over. She in fact didn’t and accused us of already receiving them. After she went back and forth about with my husband she finally made them. After about 45min to an hour the food slowly came out and was cold of course, and we were also missing a few plates. When my husband inquired about the missing orders, the cook from the kitchen made very rude and inconsiderate remarks to my husband. My husband had enough at this point, asked them not to make the food, he paid and we left… hungry and disappointed no less.
Above all, the nerve to charge a house fee and convenience fee!! For what, we literally had to do all the work. Seat ourselves, grab our own menus, place our own orders, clear the table… I mean what? I don’t ever believe we have had such horrible service. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.
