The cashier, don't know his name. My friend and I came here for the first time 2 days ago, and we told the cashier that it's both of our first time and he's like "well it's a coffee place..." usually when you tell someone it's your first time somewhere you'd expect a different response...

Ordered in person for a Togo order. I ordered a well-done burger, no lettuce and fries with a cola. Paid and left a tip. Sat and waited for the food. The food comes out between 30-40 minutes after I ordered. I asked if the food usually takes that long. The waitress/hostess/manager? Said no it must be all the door dashes. I guess all three of them bogged down the kitchen. No mention of to refill my drink or to take the upcharge for the fries off for the long wait.
Then when I actually get to where I can eat my food, the burger is medium with a pink warm center. So half of the burger is uneditable.

The kitchen staff at this location should at the least be written up and retrained if not fired.

The person taking orders should be written up for not informing of any potential delays or issues with the order. They knew it was taking too long.

I will never be back to this business and I urge you to not give them your money. Vote with your dollars and avoid this place.

This was unfortunately a very bad dining experience in almost every way.
When the chef brought French toast to our table and no one claimed it, one person in our party tried to helpfully mention that she ordered "The Frenchie" drink, so maybe the person taking the order (understandably) took it down wrong. His response was “so no one ordered it… but it’s on the ticket…?” As he pulls the ticket out of his pocket. It was uncomfortable and confrontational.

The wings were creepily soggy. I ordered my steak and eggs medium, and it was well done. Another person ordered a well done burger with no onions. It was medium with onions. When she brought it to the waiter’s attention, he said the chef would come replace it and he never did. When she brought it up again he got very aggressive.. I could write a whole review about that. Very unprofessional.

The rest of the food was very disappointing. The breakfast eggs were mushy, someone's salad was brought out without dressing, and the person had to ask for it again... then they brought the wrong one out. The service was slow. Our bartender was nice! But that was it. Honestly, the food was so aggressively bad that we could not finish it and went somewhere else for brunch.

Also, there was a house fee and a service fee that added up to about 10% of my total bill. Keep in mind that we were told we had to go up to the counter to order our food, to order our drinks, and to pay. The waiter only came to the table to deliver the food and drinks.

Rating is for the Americano. Tasted like brown water even after I paid more for an extra shot. So if you love a good Americano this isn't the place.

Ordered a chicken caesar wrap with fresh fruit. It was a long hair in the fruit cup and the wrap was awful. Just dry and crunchy the little bit of dressing at the end of the wrap, which I opened the wrap before completely losing my appetite.

Male waitress/Worker at 12:10pm. On Jan 31,2025 Physically attacked me for using 5 packs of sugar for my coffee. Very unprofessional and violence is never the answer. I am from Armada right next door. I was helping someone from Armada pick up an order for upstairs. I will be in contact for further investigation into this matter.

My husband and I stopped here after a 5K in downtown Akron. The establishment was obviously understaffed and understandably busy as many 5K participants stopped in. We waited in line for about 10 minutes and placed an order for a cappuccino, sandwich, and small salad for dine in. We received our coffee about 10 minutes after we sat down. And then ... we waited. For over an hour. At about the 40 minute mark, the restaurant had nearly cleared out with a group that had ordered ahead of us and a couple of people that had just walked in still in the restaurant. The two women who had just walked in and placed an order received their order after 10 minutes of waiting (as a reminder, we'd been waiting at this point for about 50 minutes to an hour). My husband and another patron that had ordered right after us decided to approach an employee and ask what the hold up was. No explanation was given, just that the order was being worked on. We finally received our order -- the food was delicious, but our enjoyment was dampened by the wait and lack of communication. I understand restaurants are understaffed and kitchens can run slow when it's busy. However, I don't understand why the wait wasn't communicated to us. Had we known it would take over an hour to get a sandwich and salad, we would have went elsewhere. There's a few things restaurants can do when they're that behind: close the drive thru, stop taking orders for pick up, and/or let customers know how long the wait will be. I can corroborate the other review that says they were denied a refund after a super long wait. We also received no apology for the wait. I feel for the kitchen staff; I doubt management really cares about their workload.

Waited over an hour for an apple walnut salad and the bronx sandwich. The food was good, but people that came in 40 minutes after us got their food first. If you’re that backed up, warn the customers or simply stop taking orders. It’s basic restaurant etiquette. I can corroborate the review from 15 minutes ago, I believe they waited 2 hours and that the owner wouldn’t refund them.

Confused. Operating hours were for 8 am on a Tuesday, here at 8:30, sign said open at the drive thru, but lights out, no one available after I rang the bell several times for service, and the open sign out front wasn't lit. It's a shame because I really wanted to give this place a try.

UPDATE: the response is correct. yes, the restaurant was busy. but by the time we went to cancel our order (after everyone else in our party who ordered right in front of us got their food - over 30 mins before us btw??) almost everyone had LITERALLY LEFT. i went to cancel the order and it took over 7 mins for the woman to come back from the kitchen. our order was not ready... LOL. i do support small businesses, i do not support rude behavior and cowering behind a screen. the "owner" couldn't even come out from behind the kitchen to talk to me out help me out in any way.

if i could give 0 stars i would. we waited 2 hours for our food and when we tried to cancel the order, they wouldn’t let let. the OWNER wouldn’t let us. horrible business and horrible owner. DO NOT COME HERE wasted $64.00

Bartender was extremely friendly, the place was well kept and clean, large drink selection, both coffees and alcoholic beverages. Food was limited to coffee shop type food and pastries or you could order from the pizza place next door.
