I love coming to the Green Dragon Inn for a cocktail and some food! I will choose an easy game from the wide selection after eating to play. Our server Ciara was kind and helpful with the food and games menu!

Everybody at the Green Dragon Inn provided exceptional customer service and they did so with a friendly and welcoming demeanor! From the kitchen staff (members of the galley) all the way through our server (Alex) each person was not only polite and accommodating what a pleasure to have dialogue with!!

The food was good and menu listings were creative but overall the choices were quite limited. There were a few minor hiccups with flavors being balanced and portion sizes for the price paid were also a little lopsided. As an example, the stuffed mushrooms were delicious except for the fact that they were exceptionally oversalted! As long as you have a beverage standing by to cut the saltiness, they would still be very edible. I had hoped to enjoy some bone-in or boneless wings but alas there was no such option on the menu. I found this kind of odd because chicken is typically a pretty common thing to have in most eateries?!!

The main dining area seemed to be buzzing with activity and happy patrons...always a good sign when you enter an establishment. We were in a separate room, hidden behind a secret bookcase (creative and cool feature). Everything was fine until the outside temperature started to drop near freezing and the old non-insulated windows did not hold back the outside cold very well at all. Within about an hour the temperature of the room dropped significantly and for the first time in a decade, I was literally cold sitting in a restaurant!! Very uncomfortably cold! 🥶

My biggest criticism is that the Green Dragon inn is NOT friendly AT ALL to those with physical disabilities!! I understand that it's an older building and having an elevator installed is not an option. However there are companies like Acorn Stairlift and other companies in Northeast Ohio that can solve this problem for them. This responsibility doesn't necessarily fall on the Green Dragon Inn (maybe it's the building owner?!) but as someone with severe physical disabilities it was not only extremely painful and downright scary to go up those steep steps but it was completely unsafe and good evening a catastrophe or even a fatality someday if this is not addressed and remedied.

Overall the Green Dragon Inn is a fun tavern to visit with a great theme and inviting atmosphere but unfortunately I will never return unless they were to get the accessibility issue fixed as it was not pleasant ascending or descending the stairway of death.

If I could give the atmosphere 17 stars, I would. The Green Dragon Inn is fantastic! We went for the first time today and couldn’t have had better food or service. Sierra was super helpful with recommendations on drinks and food choices. The other staff was helpful as well with info on their D&D room and board game selection. This will become a regular date night spot for sure!

I came in recently with a group of friends for someone’s birthday to play Magic and enjoy the ambiance. It was the first time I’ve been here but others in the group had been before. I don’t know if staff assumed that we weren’t eating or drinking because we were also playing games, but our table was almost entirely ignored for the 3 hours we were there while we watched other tables eat, drink, and leave in less time. It took almost 45 minutes after sitting for anyone to offer water. Then, when we needed refills, we had to ask twice and wait another 45 minutes. During that time my husband and I decided we wanted to try one of the drinks on the menu, and when we tried flagging the server down to ask she barked at us “I’M GETTING THE WATER.” We wanted to eat but had no faith that the food would get to us in a timely manner so we left and went to Zub’s. All of this to say, I really enjoyed the space and the atmosphere but the service alone makes me never want to visit again.

Great experience at the green dragon inn. Staff was friendly, food was phenomenal, and drinks went down almost to easily. Would highly recommend this place for a good meal, some casual drinks, or some fun nights out with friends.

This upscale craft bar has a Lord of the Rings table top gamer vibe to it as well as Dungeons & Dragons night every Wednesday and Thursday @ 7pm. There is a wide assortment of beverages, cocktail drinks and food that you typically won't find at other establishments. The service is stellar and the restaurant is locally owned by the same people who run Full Grip downstairs. The whole building is a gamer's utopia with frequent events being ran, like: Renaissance festivals and conventions. The only thing missing is a video game room with a Dance Dance Revolution machine.

I've been going here for over a year, it has quickly become one of my favorite places to be at.

This place is authentic to everything it wants to be. You won't find an experience like it elsewhere in the city.
