Great for live performances
I cannot say enough about the cafe here! Great gluten free selections. Made me so happy!
I live just 2 blocks from the mustard seed market but I shop at Whole Foods because mustard seeds online ordering does not work and their prices are lot higher
Long time customer here of this location Mustard Seed! Exploring finding meaningful conscious food for special events, or a quick something on the go. Many a days studying and enjoying the cafe.
I recently rented out the banquet room for a special event, it’s a no brainer I practically live there! This experience exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Special shout out to Carla who intuitively graced all of my needs said and unsaid. This woman deserves a raise. The bakery went above and beyond providing the perfect most detailed and delectable cake! Another shout out to Tammy who helped me coordinate it all, she made this process so easy and smooth.
Thank you Mustard Seed for being such a corner stone of the community and providing a divine space for such a meaningful experience .
Still wanted to go never gotten a chance after 2018 when I last went to a Mustard seed located in Montreal's.
One of my favorite places to shop, the fresh food counter is really second to none. So much good stuff, I can't stay away!
Awesome place to shop for many reasons. Great produce and selection.
One of my favorite go to places
Real shame about this place. When the parents ran the company it was a growing and well run business. Went here today for lunch with a +1. Before we even got there we said how it’s a waste of time because it’s always something with this place that prevents you from staying. We arrive at 12 on a Monday and they were closed because of a “staffing shortage”. That’s inexcusable, one of your main jobs running a business is to make sure you have enough staff. You can make all the excuses you want but that’s poor management. This place is well known locally to be an abusive work environment with low pay and high demands. That why they have a staffing shortage. I write this long review because the place could be great but it’s not and today they lost a customer for life. There are too many issues that keep me from going back. My friend and I were in disbelief when we openly joked we didn’t want to go because it’s always closed or out of half the menu or some other half asses reason and wouldn’t ya know…they were closed. Sorry bring the parents/founders back and that one manager that was there for years. Pay your employees a decent wage instead of blowing all the money on a CBD line of products and hire an actual business manager because the kids don’t know what they are doing or simply don’t care.
Shopped and ate lunch. Both groceries and prepared food are a bit overpriced, but of good quality. The neighborhood isn't the best. Montrose was much better.

Produce is always way past ripe. Prices are insane for everything. Staff is basically the walking dead inside, probably because they barely make enough to live off of. The cafe has gotten rid of so many items, upped the pricing on what’s left and made portions smaller. The greed is outrageous everywhere. Not to mention they expect to be tipped out even though you bus your own tables and don’t have an actual waiter/waitress. The only way I’ll be eating here again is if it’s on someone else’s dime. Lol.
Beautiful clean store!
Good place for healthy foods
Especially thrilled with vegan deli options like the egg salad and barbecue ribs. And the discounted raspberry chocolate cake was to die for.
Always clean and well stocked!
