TERRIBLE. I went today to get ice cream & it was served in chinese takeout containers. The owner SCREAMED at me to look at the menu outside. Then, after ordering, he made me stand outside (again) in the pouring down rain & freezing cold. This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I will not recommended this place to anyone. Save yourselves and do not come here!

Where is the food? I wanted to get some pasta for dinner and have ice cream for dessert, but the old man behind the counter snapped that there is only take out ice cream. I got a $9 milkshake and waited outside for it, when he handed it to me he shouted âwhatâll you have?â at me again and I dipped. The milkshake was runny and foamy and the cup is light, not worth $9. The experience is weird and unnerving.

RUDE. The experience we had at Mary Coyleâs was quite unpleasant. While traveling, we stopped by this establishment where the owner, I presume, inquired if we had read the menu displayed on the door. We were simply looking to order a cone. However, as soon as we entered, the man began to rant and raised his voice at us for not having made a decision prior to coming inside. I have never encountered such behavior from anyone, particularly an owner. Needless to say we turned around and left. If I could pick zero stars I would.

Slice of history and best ice cream in Ohio. It's a little bit of the sweets to keep the blood flowing ? seriously you will not be disappointed in the quality of the ice cream. Try a pint of every flavor & don't stop until you have had them all. A couple surprised me as different in the best ways possible. It is worth every penny. And you have to have an appreciation for the finer things in life every now and again. ?

The Highland Square community is hit hard with crime, as illegal immigrants and inflation take its toll. Local businesses are working to stay in business and keep their customers and employees safe. Trecaso's is definitely worth a visit.
Stopped in for ice cream and what a cute place .. nostalgic. I loved the sense of humor from the gentleman who helped us. He was quick and efficient as well. As for the ice cream.. delish!! Got the peanut butter fudge!!

Atrocious customer service from a snippy old man who might as well have been chanting "no soup for you!" Just cartoonoshly bad service for the most shoddy looking "local favorite" I've ever been to. There are dozens of better ice cream shops in the area and probably on the same street. But of course this is the kind of place that has been around too long to be accountable for declining service until enough people are fed up with it and as far as I'm concerned, that can't happen too soon.

Asked for 2 scoops I barely got one and a half. I was polite, followed all his silly rules and I didn't even get what I paid for. So expensive for what you get. I even tipped 50% just to show courtesy, knew what I wanted, spoke softly and did everything the rules say on the door and let's just say the vibes are OFF. Idk if it's because I'm black but uhhhh. It was not the vibe. Service and atmosphere is rancid, literally wouldn't let a single white mum come in to order with her child because she had a stroller and you can ONLY order inside. Absolutely unbelievable. Ice cream is OK I guess but I'll be so honest, I'm afraid to finish it bc I wonder if he spit in it. Have no idea how this place is up and running in Highland Square.

I have ordered ice cream that was delivered by DoorDash. DoorDash drivers can do multiple stops, so, when someone orders hot fudge sundae and pays for extra topping it's disappointing that the hot fudge isn't put in a separate cup because by the time it gets here it's pure liquid. What's the point in paying for extra topping when u barely put any on it to begin with and fail to add the extra. Please start putting hot toppings in a separate cup! I have always loved y'all's food and ice cream but the last 2 times I have ordered ice cream it's liquid when it gets here and I'm not that far.

Not very polite. Rude service will not be coming back here! It was my first time there and he didnât want to elaborate on his business history or the ice cream flavors. I questioned if I should eat the ice cream because I felt like they mightâve spit in it

I ordered the cherry pineapple and it barely was any cherry pineapple in my bowl. I came inside and asked politely for more cherry pineapple and he said with a smart tone â$2â I told him there was barely any in it and he said again smart âwell thatâs all you getâand then my black friend came after me and asked to use the bathroom and he said no he didnât have a bathroom. Mind you my cousin told me the lady she saw last time had way more who was white. Racist and bad service baby servings of toppings if youâre black.

At first, I thought this was a cute place for some ice cream. A little pricy if you ask me. 31$ for 3 ice creams. Then I was outside playing GO FISH with my kids, and the old man came and told us no cards on his property?! A lady told us she decided to leave after she heard what he told us. How freaking rude of you to not allow a family to play GO FISH!
