No I don't recommend twisted tomato on March 4 2025 I ordered from Twisted Tomato S Main St Akron I never received my order I called the restaurant I was told that I would be refunded while I was on

Ordered a pizza and it was not throughly cooked and made incorrectly. Called the location in Cuyahoga Falls and they would not correct the issue. Out $27 and stuck with a bad order. Very disappointed

Great food, great people, great prices. Owner is cool, staff is super friendly and the place is always clean. Stop here almost every day for lunch. Highly recommend the calzone!

I ordered Pizza and Jojos, The pizza was Amazing!! The sauce has the perfect sweetness to it... If you are looking for a sweet sauce pizza this is it!!!!
The jojos weren't my favorite, no seasoning in the batter. I ordered them extra crispy but there was no crunch! I wouldn't get those again, but the pizza for sure! I'll be back for that...

Currently in bed at midnight writing this post and I’m hungry lol. But honestly I ordered a large pizza and 10 mozzarella stick both were just bad, food was cold I picked it up time my receipt said. The mozzarella sticks felt like they more than 24 hours cook. Idk the food was just bad never threw away a pizza before. Wish I had anything other 👎🏽

Edit: update

Not only was their pizza good, but their chicken was better. Their chicken was so much better that I made this my go to place for fried chicken and highly recommended it to others. When I first had their chicken it was a Carolina Fried chicken variety. If you’ve ever had it it’s lighter, fluffier and crunchier. I’m not sure if they use soda crackers as the foundation for the breading or something different. The taste was different in a good way.

When I ordered chicken today it was made with Italian seasoned bread crumbs like 90%of the other local shops who offer fried chicken on their menu. Hopefully this was due to a supply issue.
They’ve also started to slicing a potato into really thin slices that are much thinner than a classic Jo-Jo. This wouldn’t matter as much if they filled the box with them like many other restaurants do, but they don’t. Order an 8 piece chicken and you’ll get 8 super thin Jo-Jo’s. if I had to guess I would say that they are getting around 24 slices from each potato.

At one point service here was slow.
That it’s no longer the case.

Our group of 10 stopped in for lunch today around 2pm for a birthday. We were told “there are only two cooks working, you can’t be here” followed by “we can’t serve you.” Hard for a business to grow to be able to pay more staff when the ones you have turn away paying customers in the middle of the day. We took our money elsewhere, and had food in 20 minutes… prepared by ONE cook.
