Upper Deck Bar & Grill offers a nice view of the water and boat dock, along with great outdoor seating off the lake. The outdoor area has recently been improved and terraced, making it look very nice. This classic and legendary spot is situated right on the Portage Lake front and features live bands, creating a fun atmosphere and a great vibe. It’s a popular spot with a lake living atmosphere, making it a great place for drinks and enjoying the lake view. There is an inside bar and two outside bars with amazing views.
The food is standard pub fare and decent, with recommendations for the French Onion and Pepper Bomb Handhelds. The bomb pepperoni pizza, cheeseburgers, and a chicken wrap are excellent. Service can be hit or miss; while the staff is nice and friendly and service was great for some, there can be very slow service when the restaurant is busy, with food sometimes taking over an hour. Despite this, the inside offers good food and drinks, making it a fun place for people of all ages, especially in the summer by the lake.
