“Love the Captain's Club. Nice little pub with good music, great drinks, and even greater people! The owners are super nice and great to converse with on a not-so-busy night. Very nice, lit patio with cornhole (if that's your thing) where you can take your drinks and smoke (if that's your thing). They have a great selection of beer and liquor and always try to keep up with the latest drink trends.“

“Was looking for a spot to stop on our way to PA. Found this along the way but it was solid. I wouldn't say it was the best food I ever had but it was good and lots of variety for my family. We went with 2 young children and were easily able to appease their pickiness.

Since it was lunch I didn't try any cocktails but they sounded delicious.

Would recommend the stinky tator tots.“

“A nice neighborhood bar in the old sense of the word. They are not very pretentious ,it is a beer and a shot kind of joint but they have a great cook and you can get some good bar food there. They also have a nearly full compliment of every lottery machine that the state of Ohio permits to be used. Pool table, and darts, also they have several games in the back room. There's also a patio area where you can dine al fresco when the weather is right. I like this place for the unpretentious presentation and you can tell that there is a core of regulars that frequent the place but nobody will make you feel like you're out of place.“

When a quiet social atmosphere fits the bill this is a good place to enjoy a few games of pool, or watch the game with friends.“

“Went for lunch on Sunday at Te’Kila Mexican Grill and this place never disappoints! It’s by far one of the BEST Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service is top notch and the food is always excellent!They really care about quality and that’s apparent. We never have to wait long for anything. Everyone there is all hands on deck and it’s so nice to see how they all work as a team. From the owners to wait staff everyone is on top of things making sure their guests are happy and served. They don’t skip any steps, presentation is always nice too. They were busy the whole time, people kept flooding in and they took care of each and every guest acknowledging them upon arrival. As a service industry person myself I saw how hard they were working and appreciate them busting their butts for us! Just wanted to give them a shout and if you’ve never been there, I highly recommend it!“

“My family and I were there for the soler eclipse, weekend. We walked in sat down at the bar, everyone was extremely friendly, kind, nice, polite, warm and welcoming. We had just come from another bar around the corner called SPEAK OF THE DEVIL they were rude unwelcoming talked about us eclipse people like really what are they doing here. Never went back there again. Back to Brass & Bronze we had the tacos the 1st night amazing. We went back the second night the kitchen had just closed so we had a drink then one of the owners came over and said I know how to make pizza I can make you pizza. So that is what we had for our 2nd night s dinner. We went back the next day for the eclipse for lunch about 1 again amazing. We meet the President of the city Council Joel Arredondo and his wife they sat outside with us and watched the eclipse. Again very welcoming, they had their daughter’s wedding at this restaurant. I recommend this place extremely high. We had the best weekend in a long time“

“We had a retirement party here for 30. They were so accommodating. We had wonderful food,wonderful service and a great time! It was so good that my family all went back the next night for my brother in laws Birthday! P.S. If you go, you have to get the fried Provolone cheese! The best!!! I would recommend, that they at least get a keurig for people wanting coffee.“

“We have ordered on DoorDash many times but finally made it in to eat in person. I am ALWAYS satisfied with the food. You guys have ruined salads for me because nothing comes close to the blackened chicken salad anywhere else lol the brisket nachos are top notch and I love the French onion dip with the chips. The inside is what you’d expect from a locally owned bar…it’s homey and feels like the kind of place that has a lot of regulars. Definitely one of our go to meals!“

“I am usually hesitant about going to a location to sit and wait for my food because I haven't had the best public interaction in a lot of places in Ohio, so I try to call in so I'm in and out. They don't do call ins after certain hours which is fair some people wont show up.

Wanted a quick bite that didn't taste like a gas station (no offense sheets), they quickly accommodated, and whatever wings they use already have a nice spicy kick to them so I don't feel bad about not getting spicy sauce over a milder sauce. They have touch tunes which is another plus, although beware they are cash only, which once again isn't something I can fault them over since they have an ATM.

The patio overlooks the water however there is surrounding construction. I can't fault a place based on surrounding stuff they have no control over. Bar is skinny like a hallway only 2.5x the size. Outside had cool little decorations on the railing so an attempt was made for the season holiday. Bartender was also dressed for spooky season which probably means the owner isn't a terrible person and will let people be individuals within front facing customer service vibes.

Only thing I could wish for is I didn't have to use an ATM when I went there, but small business has to save where it can, so I get it.

Having moved from the city to the outskirts it's difficult to find food that isn't a truck stop place after 12, so I appreciate them for having a menu, an a open kitchen.

Parking: They have a decent size lot for the size of the bar, if you can't find parking they probably also don't have anywhere for you to sit which at that point it's probably too busy and not their fault“

“I was there tonight around 12-1 and the bartender with the blonde hair in the ponytail was absolutely amazing and very sweet . She was so nice when we asked for our drinks . And did a great job with the little beer shots !!! Whoever her boss is she needs a raise!!! Not many bartenders are nice nor very calm and not annoyed by what people order.“

“We have the Thanksgiving Day Buffet every year. You can’t go wrong. It’s always delicious. Turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes vegetables, salad bar full of goodness rolls and butter, assortment of pies coffe and other beverages. Awesome!“
