“A young lady at Mark's told me about the trolley house met the owner Jen very nice person and the staff goes along with it we had their hamburgers there all fresh made hand cut fries the wings are awesome the wife and I will be new customers there once again great food highly recommend it“
“Good food, good service, good atmosphere. The Clam Chowder was good. The side salad had the perfect amount of cheese. The Turkey BLT Wrap was good and its fries were amazing. The Skinny Moose Combo was good too with grilled chicken and teriyaki sauce. My only complaint was that I’m almost positive the veggies were frozen and microwaved. They were swamped so even with reservations, there was a bit of a wait. Once we were seated, our server apologized for the chaos and got our orders, got us everything we needed, and spaced things out nicely. The place was well decorated with lots of ornate woodwork and firehouse pieces. We will definitely be back.“
“Food was great. My only complaint would be the Queso. It came to the table luke warm but the flavor was good. The birria torta was great but wish it came with a side of consommé to dip the sandwich in cause it was a little dry but very flavorful. The chili was delicious!“
“Understaffed at the bar on a Friday night. bar server with full bar and she's also serving tables. 15 minutes to get served... and she's also getting drinks for the waitresses... and she didn't have a clue as to why we left... G.M doesn't have a clue either, as you wouldn't allow poor service to exist in your establishment on one of the busiest nights of the week - we took our $165.00 for dinner and drinks elsewhere where service was great ??“
“Went in for dinner with my brother and 2 friends. The food was not only was delicious, but the atmosphere was amazing, Our server Juliet, really outdid herself as she was very polite, the food came out hot and quickly and she made sure everything was okay with everyone’s food, 10/10 customer service, will be coming back!!“
“The food here is so amazing! The staff last night were so accommodating and patient. Our server Daniel gave us great recommendations on the menu and was very patient in working with our food allergies. It was super busy but he made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. It was our first experience eating here and daniel made the evening a blast with his high end service. The food and drinks were 10/10, we will definitely be back!“
“Met Sara the owner here. Such a nice conversant woman. Knows how to make great ice cream and Egg salad. Nice friendly place for conversation and also meetings. Has great teas, coffee, sandwiches and as I said homemade ice cream. Lovely imported cookies, crackers and sunderous eatables. Also has gifts for sale in store. Store hard to spot, but a great meeting place for friends or business people to meet. Impressive best kept secret in Bay Village.Vegetarian options: Has good tuna and egg saladKid-friendliness: No kids when I was there, but lots of area to spread out in the restaurant.“
“Been here a few times now and the past few times they were out of pierogies (if that doesn't tell you how good they are, I don't know what will). So I switched over to the mac n cheese (everything is vegan btw, and with most of the stuff you can't tell at all). The mac n cheese is incredible. Bartenders are always very nice, the food came out quickly and there are frequently shows, karaoke, or dollar country nights here. Pool if you're lookin' to play billiards, and the beer on tap is always great (got a two hearted IPA this time around).“
“First time ever @ Crocker Park as we were taken for lunch today at Yard House to celebrate Mother’s Day.Great looking restaurant from the outside and eating areas all around the outside and oh what a massive inside and so clean and welcoming was warm and friendly.A huge shoutout to our waiter Patrick who went above and beyond for service..I had the best coffee ever along with Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque-yum to die for..we had appetizers including Bavarian pretzel and Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds and tried truffle fries and to top it off a mini cheesecake crème brûlée…We’ll definitely be back to this fantastic spot and again thank you Patrick for getting our dessert on you and the wonderful message on our dish..made our day.See you again for sureFive star for suretWell we went again on 4/15 for a celebration with seven of us and the service was so great we tipped 22%.Food was amazing and music was fantastic.Restaurant was booming for near 8pm.Please do yourself a favor and eat here as you’ll be back..“
“My husband and I came on a Friday night around 8pm. It was busy and lively inside. We were told it'd be. 30-45 minute wait but we could wait at the bar. There were actually a couple bar stools open so we just ended up ordering and eating there. Our table actually only took 10 minutes to be available. We did not let our phones eat first lol, hence the bad photos. I got the shrimp basket and side salad. Shrimp was so good and the cocktail sauce tasted like they made it with the perfect amount of horse radish. My husband got the fish and chips. Fish was flaky and tender and the fries were yummy! Even though both items were fried, they didn't feel super greasy or heavy. We loved our meals and would recommend.“
“I travel frequently and always search out Indian cuisine. I stumbled across this little place quite by accident, the small parking lot was full so I figured the local people knew something. That’s a serious understatement, this place stands toe to toe with any Indian Restaurant I’ve ever been in, and I frequent Indian Restaurants all over. My work takes me to different areas, so I think I have experience with different cuisines. This place is a real treasure, if I lived closer, I would be a regular. I encouraged the owner to open a branch in my small university town, but he’s got a jewel of a restaurant right here. Take my word for it, hands down one of the best dining experiences anywhere!“
“Hit up a mid-week happy hour. The cocktails were solid - both for happy hour and after. The food was exceptional too, especially the burger.Staff/bartenders were very friendly and helpful and the vibe was laid back. We felt welcomed. 10/10 - will be returning.“
“This place use to be called the Cliffton Luncheon wayyy back when, and it was awesome then with mini jukeboxes at each table with old school feel. Now Landmark Smokehouse! Walking in you immediately feel under dressed! The view Stunning with modern lighting, Beautiful bar and Kitchen right in view! The table settings are eye pleasing and Stylish! Great views all the way around of the Cliffton/ Detroit rd intersection. I was very surprised at the updated look! And was in Awww! Now to the Food! OMG! The first time re-visting we had Breakfast, it was so good..I forgot to take pictures! Delicious Delicious Delicious! Very good portions for the money! Didn't wait long at all and the plating very eye pleasing, love the Stylish bowls. The Staff very attentive super nice and knows the menu! So good I went back for my Birthday for lunch this November 11. The pictures are in this time! I had the BLT Hubby had Sokehouse Brisket sandwiches. And OMG I can't say I've ever had one so good! It had Smojed Bacon, Ham & Turkey with Lettuce, Tomatoes. Best I ever had for real and Stacked high! I was only able to eat half! I had a side of the Mac n Cheese..OMG! Hubby's Brisket???? What can't u say, It's Smkehouse meats! Melted in your mouth Good! We both loved it, as I had to taste it for next time! I found nothing negative from the decor to the food and service! Triple A+ for me and can't wait to go back. they also have an outside Patio! Pricing is mid $$ and fair well worth it! What a Gem! And it's Connected to The Twist night Club!Vegetarian options: Didn't try any this time but did see healthy options that looked just as delicious as what I had.Parking: Parking lot is small but plenty of parking off street.Kid-friendliness: The kids we seen were very happy and they do have a menu for them!Wheelchair accessibility: Doors have good space for wheelchairs, and they have pull away chairs at tables to accommodate.“
“Great live music, plenty of TVs for whatever sport event you want to watch.Service was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was your normal pizza and wings, however the pizza was gourmet level and the wing sauces were amazing..Highly recommend the chicken bacon ranch pizza!“
“Good food and great service. They have a long beer menu that is very well crafted. If you want some thing that’s not hoppy and you consider an IPA decent this place was great. As a person who prefers darker beers, I was a little disappointed.“
“Love this place. From the shows, food, drinks and ESPECIALLY the staff. Never have had a bad night at the Winchester. Great neighborhood spot for quick service and an overall great time. 100/10 recommend.Check out a new show! Ask the bartender to make you a fun mocktail!!! They are accommodating to all!!Can’t say enough how great the staff is. <3“
“One of the two best pizza places in Cleveland, and one of the two best in the U.S. imo. The Tomato pie is perfection. Hard to believe a pizza without cheese could be this good, but it’s better than pizza with cheese. Friendly staff! Oh… And they have Hendrick’s gin.“
“Crazy it took me this long to stop in!My bros wife was raving about the spare rib tacos, rightfully so. They are fantastically scrumptious.Fajita taco salad was not bad, made with a flour tortilla bowl, which also serves as your dipping nachos.Carnitas was tasty. Thats how I judge new Mexican spots, this passed the test l.Atmosphere: May as well have been in Mexico! Cozy.I shall return“
“We ordered the scampi pasta special it was delicious. Our friends got brocollini and spaghetti & meatballs. It was the largest meatballs weve seen. Everyone was happy with food. Bread was yummy too. The restaurant was very welcoming and service was great. I would definitely go back.“
“Authentic Taiwanese food which is a rare find in the area! The Taiwanese Yan Su Chicken was really delicious. The dang dang noodle and spicy beef noodle were just like what you would get in Taiwan. The chef and staff were very friendly and the dining area was clean and comfortable.“
“After a long exciting day at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we needed fuel before our return to Chicago. We googled "food near us", not wanting a chain. The rating was about 4.5 so we decided to try it. Initially I asked the other patrons if food is actually served there, and they pointed to an area where the owner was cooking. He was genuine and warm, we ordered beverages before he returned to the kitchen to finish another customer's food order. My gyros was terrific and flavorful and my husband's club sandwich was also loved. It was clear the French fries were fresh - we are some even though trying to hold up to our resolutions to eat more healthily. One comment mentioned by a previous reviewer, yes it is a bar with a grill and not a restaurant per se. It would be helpful if the ambiance was enhanced a bit so females felt more at home. The bathrooms could use some TLC, and the floor tiles a nail or two to prevent tripping. Looking at it through a new set of eyes is the way to go. Think: date not boy's club and attract a new crowd. Thanks, Stavros/Steve.“
“I recently visited The Wooden Nickel Bar & Grill with a friend and we had a delightful experience. We kicked off our meal with the Mozzarella Moons—an appetizing take on mozzarella sticks. These cheese-filled delights were the perfect start, boasting a deliciously gooey center. For my main course, I chose the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It was enjoyable, though it didn’t quite dazzle my taste buds as much as I had hoped. However, my friend's BBQ Pulled Pork was a showstopper. After sampling a piece, I can confirm it’s a dish I'll be ordering on my next visit; the flavor was spot-on.The ambiance added to our pleasant dining experience. The Wooden Nickel offers a soothing atmosphere, with an array of TVs for casual viewing without overwhelming noise—great for those who appreciate a laid-back dining environment. Our waitress was attentive, making our visit all the more enjoyable.I’d wholeheartedly recommend The Wooden Nickel Bar & Grill to anyone looking for a new spot to dine. Whether you’re craving a cheesy appetizer or a hearty BBQ dish, this place has got you covered.Parking: I can see it can get hard finding a parking spot when crowdedWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly“
“Ordered Cauliflower Crust with Red Sauce, No Cheese and Veggies. It was really good and the crust was awesome. A good delight before I start a detox ?Vegetarian options: Fresh. Although pineapples were not sweet but it was okay. The only downside.Dietary restrictions: No cheese. Honored my request with no issues“
“Very small dive bar and only food they have are a rack of chips. No worries because drinks are cheap and bartenders are friendly. It's a shot and beer bar and in Warren Road plaza. You could prob grab ice cream from Dairy Queen next door and they wouldn't care if you ate it in here. There is another bar in the plaza if you need food but this place place has all the drinks you need.“
“We are from Texas and had a few hours to relax before catching some sleep. The good lord lead us to this place! We were a little reluctant driving up and then had the best time!!! Great staff. Great food. Clean, well laid out space. I wish we could say we will be back! Definitely would if we weren't 1300 miles away!“
“Hosted our Wedding Kickoff at Trellis Rooftop Bar in June 2023.Erin Sipos & team instilled in us such confidence and welcomed our 75 guests with poise, energy, and profesionalism. The culinary team at Eat Me Pizzeria alongside Trellis's bartenders delivered Epicurious delights that complimented the place's modern-yet-elegant, open-air ambiance.Remarkable hospitality and perfect sound volumes, we're PROUD to have supported Cleveland's newest LGBTQ+ destination!See you for the anniversary celebration, @Trellis Rooftop! & @Erin Sipos!Vegetarian options: Great for herbivores & carnivores alike!Parking: Safe parking locations.Wheelchair accessibility: Handi-capable accessible!“
“First, the beer is amazing. Second, the food is fabulous! I had the pulled pork sandwich, it was the best! My wife had the Mahi Mahi wrap she said it was amazing. We both got the coleslaw as our side and were glad we did. Third the atmosphere and service was great. We will be back.“
“I've traveled all across the country and been to hundreds of dives and The Islander is hands down my favorite place to go. The food is great, the steaks are done perfectly and the staff are all very sweet and attentive, even when it's at full capacity. Coco, thank you for the warm welcome the first night I came in there. Brooklyn, Kate and Amanda, y'all made the best team and a great environment on New Year's, the rest of the staff that I don't recall all of your names, all of you have made this the best place ever. To the local crowd, thank you for making a complete stranger feel very welcome and included. If you're new in town, stop in, you'll find many new friends!“
“Taki's is great, but it is pretty difficult as a celiac! I did not even make it through dinner..... That said, our server was wonderful, and did her best. My gyro-connoisseur husband liked, but did not love the gyro. The pita bread looked amazing, and I was told it was. I had the kitchen salad with grilled chicken, which was juicy and flavorful. Taki's is very popular and busy, and the staff is great, especially the bartenders. Give it a try!!!“
“My Wife and I went to Mahle's Friday the 22nd for our 38th wedding anniversary. because we were eating early we didn't think we would need reservations but upon arrival we were told that with the walk-ins they had and the reservations on the books they were full. We mentioned to Beverly that we had traveled a considerable distance, upon hearing that she found us a perfect spot in the corner of the back dining room. And as always the food and service was excellent.“
“We love stino. Only cash or check. There is a cash machine in the restaurant. It is some of the best italian on the west side. We have been multiple times, and the eggplant and chicken are all great and dessert and a gluten-free dessert, too. And they have decaf cappuchino. The food is great and is a reasonable price for white table cloth style. You can come as you are, don't need suit or dress.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Had such a fabulous dinner for 9 people (including 1 toddler) and everyone loved their meals. Our server Gwen was WONDERFUL-- friendly, fun, efficient, and helpful. We ordered a variety of choices-- Chicken entree, Lobster cakes, Mussels, Ahi Tuna-- everything was delicious! Deserts (Creme Brûlée, flourless choc cake, etc) also delish. VERY good value for a lovely restaurant with terrific food and great service.“
“I recently used Amy Hudson as my day of coordinator, bartender, and lines for my wedding and everything was perfect because she was such a big part of my day. If I could do it all over again I’d hire her again and again. She was absolutely amazing the entire day!!!“
“One of my favorites. The food and atmosphere are terrific. We prefer to sit in the booths near the fireplace. The service is good but not great. We’ve had a waitress a few times that is excellent but we’ve had a couple of other servers that were good but not great which makes the service a bit inconsistent for me. Overall we really enjoy coming here and would recommend for others.“
“Nothing like Close Quarters. I lived in Westlake for 2 years in 97-99. This was my favorite watering hole. The atmosphere was unlike any other place that I have been. I traveled throughout the Great Lakes. You feel like you are home with friends the first time you walk through the doors.“
“We love to support local restaurants and Bar Nova is one of our favorites! We often get carryout and everything travels so well. It is prepped with care.Parking: There is limited parking right near the restaurant, but there is a large lot not far away.“
“This bar is so fun!! I love the concept that you pour your own drinks and pay per oz because I love sampling different stuff and sometimes don't want to be committed to one big or expensive drink. I sampled a fruit beer, a cocktail on tap, and wine! They had games to play and fun music on, and just a super cute atmosphere and decorations. The staff were very helpful and we had a great time!“
“Very good food, sauces are a must here. Spicy ketchup is honestly simple and delicious. Last time we went the app never came out to the table. Little disappointing because we wanted it so badly. Not sure if it was the server or the kitchen but we were a little cranky. Overall very goodKid-friendliness: Highchairs and kid menus available“
“I don't usually leave reviews but....... our last visit was exceptional. Our service is always superior. We always ask fora young lady named Amelia. She is very polite and attentive, our drinks are always filled. The last time I had the THAI CHICKEN BOWL, and it was so good. My husband had the CHICKEN PARM. it was very good but we do think it's overpriced.“
“This place is FANTASTIC!! Dont miss it! Looks like a speak easy! Very quiet, like it's a secret! But it has the same menue as the winking lizzard! Same food! Great beer and spirits! BUT, no kiddos allowed! So you could say it's a grown ups place? We truly love it!“
“I am giving this a four star rating because the artwork inside was really great. Otherwise it would be three stars. We got the new burritos. It isn't that they didn't taste good. It was what's inside. Tater Tots??? And where was the free chips and salsa? At what they charge it should be included. Next time we will go to a more authentic Mexican place. Our mistake.“
“When I walked in I was greeted very nicely, then proceeded to get a 2x4 thrown at me. I was then asked for my order and well , how do I say this, I ordered a simple burger and then was asked if I wanted to see how they got their beef, I was taken to the back and was then molested by 2-3 of their employees. I’m not complaining. 5 stars. Recommend“
“We love Woodys!! Came in randomly one night and weren’t sure how the crowd would be, but these people were all so fun! Clearly they like to have a good time and they were very excited it was our first time there. Shannon, the bartender is an absolute peach! We came back weeks after our first visit and she remembered our names! We had their fresh cut potato chips that night and they were amazing! We met more regulars that night. Can’t wait to go back again!“
“Great atmosphere, great food!! We went on a Thursday, special was the burger and endless fries. We went for lunch. Burgers were perfect, fries were great!! Our waitress was spectacular!!!! Her name is Kimberly. We watched her and was amazed!! She was running the bar and the 6 tables, and the Togo/pick up orders. She spoke to everyone and everyone looked happy. She needs a raise!!❤️“
“The food here is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS- try the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken with the pink sauce - it's divine!! The mozerella sticks have an amazing cheese pull and their marinara is so good my mouth is watering as I type this review ?“
“I hate leaving outstanding reviews anymore, only because the place starts getting overwhelmed, the staff gets burnt out, and conditions seem to get worse. This place very much deserves the risk of that outstanding and 5-star review. Kudos to those that run it. I would only hope that expansion is in the future to ease what's to follow from its success. I've found this establishment to be awesome. (imho)Thank ya'll!-rp“
“One might described the venue as constricted as the dining spaces can be a bit tight. I found it cozy enough navigating the stairs to one of the dining areas on the upper level and sliding into a pew. Yes, a pew. Some of the booth seating has been repurposed from churches. Our server, Anna, who has been recognized from other reviews for her speedy service, was again on point with cheerful and expedient form. Our selections of chicken florentine and eggplant siciliano along with smooth Malbec and Moscato wines were tremendous. The accompanying pasta was perfectly al dente, which is often very hard to find in even the most traditional Italian eateries (mainly because it is precooked to mushiness). Great job and I recommend one gets there early because the place fills up and I can understand why. Would surely make a return trip.“
“Great little bar. 3rd oldest building in Strongsville, historical. Prices are good, music is eclectic. I rated the food good to give props to the bar but I don't think they actually serve foor. Maybe some fried stuff per request. But there is not cook.“
“If you have not tried aces depot do your mouth a real favor and go immediately the food was absolutely amazing everything you order is made fresh and in house had passed this bar and grill for many years and never thought to go try it finally did and if I could give 10 stars I absolutely would best food in the area amongst all other restaurants and bars in the area the bartender was absolutely amazing very on top of everything and would educate you on everything they have or that they can make“
