“New Favorite Italian Spot! We came here for my brother’s rehearsal dinner, and wow—Matteo’s absolutely blew us away! My husband and I loved everything we had: the lemon chicken was tender and flavorful, the Alfredo cavatelli was creamy perfection, and the sausage and meatballs were just incredible. Honestly, I can’t even pick a favorite—they were all that good. The bread and butter? Probably the best we’ve ever had. The cozy, old-town vibe of the location just added to the charm, and the service was top-notch. You can really feel the care and warmth of a true mom-and-pop Italian place. We’ve officially found our new go-to spot. If you’re a fan of Italian food and great hospitality, do yourself a favor and check out Matteo’s!“

“Love this place! Great ambiance inside. Nice outdoor patio overlooking the river, but it was too cold to enjoy for our visit. The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and helpful! We will return to eat on that patio when warmer weather permits“

If you plan on going to the establishment on a busy night you will need to make a reservation because their seating area is a little small but allows for a more romantic atmosphere. However my wife and I choose to go on a Sunday night which didn't require a reservation. 2. Their homemade dipping sauces for myself were a little plaid except for the one that was just extremely spicy.“

A neurologist friend took me here many years ago as a graduation celebration from nursing school. I’ve been coming back ever since, and I’ve never had a disappointment for a night or meal. She was missing the foods from her home, and a true Spanish restaurant is hard to find. A friend said he heard about Sangria Y Tapas so we immediately changed our plans and headed to Westlake. She smiled the entire time we were there and spoke Spanish with the owner a mile a minute. She said it did her heart good and the food was truly Spanish. The service was spectacular! We will definitely be crossing over to the west side to visit this fabulous establishment again!“

“Ferris Shawarma is my go to place for the best tasting Chicken Shawarma and silky smooth hummus in Cleveland. I prefer eating in, but usually end up carryout. I order the shawarma on hummus and it comes with fattoush etc. It's enough for two meals.I love their hot sauce but my favorite is the garlic toum...it has a real bite.
Service is good and the guys in the front always greet with a smile.“

“Harlow's pizza is a favorite in the Lakewood/Cleveland area. The Neapolitan-style pizza has the perfect dough, soft with a hit of salt. The friendly service, great tunes, and wonderful atmosphere bring me back to this beloved eatery time and time again.“

“We came in on a Thursday night as a large family, as we were all in town for a family event… there were about 20 of us. Their seating rules weren’t very clear as we talked to a few different people and seemed to get a slightly different story each time. It wasn’t a very big deal though, we hung out in the bar area for about an hour and then got a couple of tables hear each other where we all sat.

The menu is really nice, loaded with so many appetizing things! I wanted to start with a side salad and ordered that, but unfortunately it never came. I did get their spicy French dip, which was a special and it was decent. The onion rings were amazing, so were their baked beans. Service was decent for a group our size.

From the time I ordered it a week prior and working with Tina, to the delivery service being on time and the food hot and ready. Wonderful service! People were raving about the food, especially the fried chicken. We were a little bit past their delivery area, but they still delivered to us. “We had Old Carolina cater our wedding this last Saturday (2.24.24) at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland, OH and we cannot thank the staff enough. We opted for a buffet option which worked out so well. We are still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. When we were thinking about food for our wedding, I knew I wanted a barbecue buffet! Once we saw they were on the preferred list of vendors for Lake Affect Studios it was a no brainer and we went with them as our first choice. We used to love eating at Old Carolina when they had a restaurant in Mentor, OH. Kelsey was so helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to wedding day, and assisting with the set up the day before. They did an amazing job keeping everyone fed and the staff was friendly and efficient. They let us take home left over food and we were able to enjoy the barbecue even after our big day. “Hatfield's is our most favorite restaurant for brisket, fresh-cut fries, onion rings, outstanding mac and cheese, sloppy Joe's, burgers and ribs. We get the same things all the time because they're delicious. I take my family and friends and everyone loves it!! I walk in and they usually know my order. Friendly service, clean, nice atmosphere, and very good food!! The owner does come around to make sure your satisfied with everything, which really was impressive to us. We dine in as well as carry-out and highly recommend this restaurant for excellent southern comfort food!!“
