““This would be considered an excellent restaurant in Spain.” “The best tres leches cake I’ve ever had.” These are direct quotes from our Spanish exchange student. She was missing the foods from her home, and a true Spanish restaurant is hard to find. A friend said he heard about Sangria Y Tapas so we immediately changed our plans and headed to Westlake. She smiled the entire time we were there and spoke Spanish with the owner a mile a minute. She said it did her heart good and the food was truly Spanish. The service was spectacular! We will definitely be crossing over to the west side to visit this fabulous establishment again!“

The Managers, Servers & Staff are Always Very Professional, Friendly, Polite, Considerate and make our dining experience truly delightful. “We took about 30 people in here after a hockey game (unannounced) and the staff and kitchen were phenomenal. We were surprised how quickly they got the food out. Great atmosphere with board games, old video games, delicious food, and friendly staff. Thank you!“

Food was excellent besides the chicken sandwich my wife got. Unfortunately is was dry, but Julia took care of it. I remember going to Yard house in San Diego back in 2010 while I was stationed there. I was a drinker back then and I remember they had tons of beer selections. This place has it too if that's what you like. I don't drink much anymore, so I wasn't able to experience their selections“

“My girlfriend and I stopped in for brunch and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere made it easy to sit back and enjoy our time together. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. This was one of those meals that turned into a really memorable date. Highly recommend!“

“Absolute 10/10 experience Everything was phenomenal Our server Omar was a delight. He was friendly, his suggestions were incredible, and he was always there right when you needed him before you even realized it The aesthetic was incredible, definitely the cutest restaurant we’ve ever been to And the food, oh man. “Had a great experience at Dave’s Cosmic Subs in Westlake. Jacob was friendly, polite, and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
We ordered two Crazy Subs and one Original. All three were absolutely fantastic. The sandwiches were made with care, the ingredients tasted fresh, and every bite was delicious. You can tell the staff takes pride in making great food.
If you are looking for an excellent sub shop with great customer service and outstanding food, I highly recommend Dave’s Cosmic Subs in Westlake. We will definitely be back.“

“A few things I noticed were: 1. If you plan on going to the establishment on a busy night you will need to make a reservation because their seating area is a little small but allows for a more romantic atmosphere. However my wife and I choose to go on a Sunday night which didn't require a reservation. 2. Their homemade dipping sauces for myself were a little plaid except for the one that was just extremely spicy.“
