““This would be considered an excellent restaurant in Spain.” “The best tres leches cake I’ve ever had.” These are direct quotes from our Spanish exchange student. She was missing the foods from her home, and a true Spanish restaurant is hard to find. A friend said he heard about Sangria Y Tapas so we immediately changed our plans and headed to Westlake. She smiled the entire time we were there and spoke Spanish with the owner a mile a minute. She said it did her heart good and the food was truly Spanish. The service was spectacular! We will definitely be crossing over to the west side to visit this fabulous establishment again!“

“We took about 30 people in here after a hockey game (unannounced) and the staff and kitchen were phenomenal. We were surprised how quickly they got the food out. Great atmosphere with board games, old video games, delicious food, and friendly staff. Thank you!“

“Great staff, always friendly and attentive and the food is awesome. I recommend the Vietnamese salad with pork, any of their Thai curries, pho, pad see ew...really anything. They never disappoint.
Update: a bit disappointed with our last order because no one asked if we wanted the lunch or dinner portion, so we brought the food home and when we opened it later for dinner, there was hardly any food because they gave us the lunch portions by default. I called and she said we need to ask for dinner portions if we call earlier in the day, but in my opinion they should ask the customer if they want lunch or dinner portions since both are available. I didn't even know they had lunch portions. Regardless, my original review stands. They're great, I just think they need to ask that since customers don't necessarily know that that's what they're ordering.“

“Very good service especially with Scott. He's professional and very attentive to our needs. We love our wings and shrimp tacos. The Brownie Sundae was excellent. Highly recommended place especially with Justo Saborit entertainment.“

“Stopped in because was craving a meatball sub and heard theirs was good. This sub hit the spot!! The daves sauce on the bottom gave it an amazing tang. Fresh out of the over the bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Great atmosphere inside. Recommend the meatball sub!!“

“Absolute 10/10 experience Everything was phenomenal Our server Omar was a delight. “We went to celebrate my granddaughter's 21st birthday. I was going to rent the party space but decided against it because we wanted to be inside the gaming area. We arrived at 2:45 in the afternoon on Monday. It was perfect timing because there was only a handful of people there. It did take a while to get a waitress to come to us. When she did she was very polite. They had a shift change we checked out with our appetizers and drinks with the first waitress. She stated she would let the oncoming waitress know about Us. It took a very long time before someone came over to help us with more cocktails and our dinner order. The food wasn't that great this time. Some things felt cold and just not tasty.
As usual it was fun because of all the games that we played. We probably would have had more attention if I had rented the partially private room. But in the end we all had a good time and we love going to DB's with the family for fun.“

“A few things I noticed were: 1. If you plan on going to the establishment on a busy night you will need to make a reservation because their seating area is a little small but allows for a more romantic atmosphere. However my wife and I choose to go on a Sunday night which didn't require a reservation. 2. Their homemade dipping sauces for myself were a little plaid except for the one that was just extremely spicy.“
