“It was my friend's first time at the restaurant and she commented that she already liked the place before any food was brought to our table. The quality of the food and the service were very good. “Just had the best meal! Food was AMAZING and the service was outstanding. We got the cauliflower bites appetizer and it was so flavorful I could have eaten it for my main dish. My husband got chicken parmesan (it was a huge portion and the breading was phenomenal). My mother got chicken picatta, so tender. My meal (avocado and chicken flatbread) came literally 2 minutes after theirs, they apologized and gave it for free. They did not need to, it was only two minutes and it was worth the wait😋. We put the free meal into the tip and the waitress tried to refuse saying the tip was too much. Absolutely not, the food and the service justified it! We live in Elyria and I will be recommending Burntwood Tavern to anyone who asks for referrals! Thanks for a great Easter meal!!!“

“So many enjoyable aspects! I really wanted to love the broccoli melt, and perhaps my comments are limited to my experience ... the hoagie roll was several steps beyond a nice chew. It was hard. And the roasted broccoli was just barely roasted. Will try again. With those two adjustments, I am sure it is outstanding.“

I'm not closely acquainted with them, but they don't lot to support their local community and the different groups that come together to uplift one another. “I tried this place for the first time and EVERYTHING was amazing!!! The decor when you walk in. I came on a Thursday and they have karaoke night ! I thought that was cool and I didn’t know this initially. I came for the restaurant/rooftop. We went upstairs and they had a good playlist of songs , the food was amazing !!!! Absolutely delicious. I order the fire roasted shrimp as appetizer and it was so good when the veggies !! Although it said fire it wasn’t hot at all. It was Made just right . I ordered the chicken and waffles as my entree . Chicken was cooked perfect and the hot honey syrup was good as well . We also order the BBW wings and fries which were good too. I tried the green apple slushy mixed with the peach one and added my choice of liquor ! Delicious!!! Our sever Tone was great ! I will definitely be back. It’s a LBGTQ restaurant and they have drag brunch on Sundays ! I’ll be going to check it out . I’ve always wanted to go to one and now I do ??“

“What a great place! My wife's been here several times before but this was my first chance to join her. I love the space and the concept, and the owner was super friendly and answered my many questions about the business and the beer.
One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that there were several beers that I would have never ordered normally, but since it was by the ounce I was able to do a lot of sampling and found that I enjoyed a couple more than I would have guessed. Great place to expand your beer palate!“

“This is a cool bar, they have a couple pool tables and dart boards kind of tucked away upstairs. They have a touchtunes jukebox. The Bartenders are always very friendly and quick. It is a smaller place so on busy nights the parking lot fills up completely and there may not be seats available but that's great for business. I haven't had their food so I can't say anything about that. I've been there a handful of times and will be back again.“

It being a trucker bar can be kinda hit and miss with the people. “Cheap drinks, karaoke a group of amazing friends? You can’t go wrong with this place. I feel like is a great option to start or end the night with friends. The bar can get loud so if you want a nice sit down place this may not be the spot as people loudly screaming karaoke cannot be avoided but it is entertaining! Highly recommend this dive bar if you want a space to share with friends and if you enjoy karaoke it’s perfect.“

“Stopped in for the Saturday steak special was not disappointed. The steaks were delicious sides are huge you could swap the baked potato for anything, you get a side salad too, we also had cheese curds. Service was good. It was packed the bar is a bit tight but worth the wait.“

“I've been going to Mike's Bar & Grille in downtown Berea for a couple of years now, and every time I'm in town I make it a point to stop in. I always look forward to trying their Burger of the Month and whatever new beers they have on tap or cans. The food is consistently good. They also do a nice job rotating monthly specials. They're very pup-friendly too, which has us excited to bring our Goldens along when we make the cross-country drive in the RV this summer. Solid food, great drinks, and a welcoming neighborhood spot. Highly recommend if you're in the Berea area!“

“I don’t go out to bars much these days but decided to stick my head in on St. Paddy’s as I’ve driven by a bunch. Looks so low key and not at all obnoxious from the outside - no advertisements for various alcohol, just a good old Christmas Story lamp in the window. Inside, it’s a warm and friendly neighborhood pub that made me feel welcome. Full of Irish cheer on the big day, but I’m sure there is some of that year round. Prices for a pint were fair maybe even in the lower side. Some places regulars don’t really like new people coming in or are cool or suspicious towards them. Not here at all. I barely drink anymore but if I was going to have a goto neighborhood pub this would be it.“

If you plan on going to the establishment on a busy night you will need to make a reservation because their seating area is a little small but allows for a more romantic atmosphere. However my wife and I choose to go on a Sunday night which didn't require a reservation. 2. Their homemade dipping sauces for myself were a little plaid except for the one that was just extremely spicy.“
