This place is awesome! I live in Columbus but I get to the area often and I love going here. It has a really cool diner atmosphere, diner level pricing but super upscale level food. Every single thing I’ve ever had there is amazing, and there are some unique recipes that are great. Staff is always super friendly. Highly recommended!
Our most recent visit to Sal + Al's was to celebrate our daughter's preschool graduation. We arrived on a Friday evening at 7:30PM with 10 total guests. Time moved quickly as we selected our meals, waited for the food to be prepared and visited with one another. Before we knew it the 9PM closing time was approaching. The food was good...paprikash and pizza. the server was the kindest and sweetest we have ever had. my wife and I were treated so warmly. the facility, the music, and even the restrooms were just right. We will be returning.

Specific meals include deep dish pizza, paprikash, corned beef sandwich, roast beef sandwich, crispy fries, tater tots, and a chocolate malt. The staff is always super friendly, incredibly gracious, and knowledgeable about the menu. One server was the kindest and sweetest, and another was amazing and informed. The customer service is excellent; the staff is very accommodating, even taking orders over the phone for the deep dish pizza. One group of 10 guests was never rushed, even after the 9PM closing time, and enjoyed yummy ice cream. The facility, music, and restrooms are just right. Highly recommended.
