Watch out for the men's room door. It's out of alignment and if you close it to take a poop, you might not be strong enough to open it. A kid would be trapped! I told the staff and they don't give a poop. It's been stuck for months now.
Love eating at the bar. Food is top notch but the smokey flavor is just a little too strong. I'm burping smoke until morning. All friends say the same thing about the strong smoke flavor. It keeps me from going there more often.

I absolutely loved my dinner at Briquettes! Best food i've had in a long time. I got the pulled pork without a bun, Merlin style. Came with beet kraut, pickled onions, and citrus mustard. I think I will forever eat my BBQ this way! I dont like sweet bbq sauces (and I'm gf) so this was perfect. My husband enjoed hus meal amd several cradt beers. Our server, Carly, was wonderful, we probably bored her to tears by being so chatty. 😂 if she was she didn't let on! Thank you, Carly, for being a wonderful server and making our meal even more enjoyable. The old historic 3 story building overlooking the river and historic bridge is just beautiful.

We have been to Briquettes many times. The food is exceptionally well cooked and prepared. My husband enjoys the size of the pulled pork sandwich and french fries. For me it is way too much so I take at least half of the pork off to bring home for another meal. We have NEVER been disappointed, have only once or twice had to wait for a table more than a few minutes and found the service to be excellent no matter how busy they were when we stopped. I highly recommend them for great food and price.

Ranch salad dressing and coffee were great. My brisket was a bit to smoked for my taste. Didn't care for their sauces either.

Cool Atmosphere and WORLD CLASS BBQ. I lived in Memphis at one point and have been in Richmond, VA for nearly 20 years. Hands down THE BEST RIBS I have ever had and living where I have I’ve had some very fine examples!

Wonderful food & service! Serenity was our server and was 😁 excellent! The ribs, pulled pork and brisket were yummy 😋. The corn bread was the best I had. Their portions are generous. Great bang for the buck!!! Cool location too.

3 of us ordered the Big Nasty along with the Clam app and Buffalo Chicken Dip. Add in 5 beers and we were $35 a person with plenty of leftovers. Food was all great Chicken thighs were incredible. Would go back for sure and Definitely recommend
