Gotta get there early to get the cinnamon rolls. We got there at 11a on a Saturday and they were sold out. The maple cinnamon roll was good if you like maple flavor and the chocolate frosted old fashioned donuts were very good.
I remember in the mid 70s my friend used to work there Dennis Chambers. He’d get off work right before big Chuck and little John or big Chuck and Hoolihan. I should say but he’d show up with extra donuts that he made. It was the best waiting for him to get out of the car to see if he had a box in his hand, those were good times and of course the donuts were insanely delicious and still are
I love love love this place let me start there lol but this last time I went the donuts just tasted kind of like almost stale which has never happened before but service and atmosphere was still amazing as always
