Our server had definite issues... Ordered our drinks...salads came before... Drinks came then our entrees came less than 10 minutes later. We were not even halfway through our salads!!! Entrees for all of us were prepared mediocre at best. But that is NOT ALL!!! After we were done eating the server presented our checks... We paid our checks...and continued to converse with our party...OUR TABLE IS NEVER CLEARED OF OUR PLATES....They still sat there after we left 40 minutes later!!!! Cutler's NEVER Again!!!
Food was Excellent. Service was slow towards the end (dessert and check) , I think they did not have enough wait staff.
Despite a pleasant atmosphere and nearly empty restaurant during supper hour on a weekday, the food was lukewarm and certain items seemed that they had been sitting in the warmer for quite a while. One steak was sent back because it was not cooked to the requested temperature and it returned to the table still well below the order requested. Our pleasant server mentioned that there was a new employee learning to cook steaks . . . Unfortunately, the upper level cost of the meal was not reflective of a training environment. We did receive a small discount on the dissatisfactory steak (at our server's unprompted suggestion). I don't think that we'll be returning any time soon.
Our filet mignons were raw and bleeding even though we ordered them medium. Had to saw them with the steak knife. Very hard to cut and hard to chew. Texas Roadhouse blows them out of the water!

There's several reasons why no one shows up to a so-called classic steakhouse on a Saturday. Here are 2: Ribeye cut was not a ribeye and was atrocious. The "best" view was a playground for kids screaming at each other.
Wonderful place! Very quiet. Outstanding quality of the food. The meat was particularly well prepared. Friendly and efficient sertvice. A very good surprise on the side of the road to Columbus airport. I recommand absolutely.
Our order was not printed out through the comouter system and was delayed because the printer didn't work. We were offered as compesation biscuts and dessert. The biscuts were burnt and cold. I ordered a pork chop which was kind of dry and for some reason already sliced which I thought strange. The brushal sprouts we burnt, with the apple slaw and baked potato being the only things that were tasty. The dessert consisted with one free dessert even though two of us were inconvenienced. It was disappointing particularly because it a dinner meant to celebrate our anniversary.
CJ makes a killer martini. The soup wasn't bad. Should have been served with crackers that I had to ask for. I ordered the blue Burger medium rare with the brussel sprouts on the side.
Did I mention medium rare ?.
My burger came out medium well.
The Brussel sprouts, absolutely terrible. Totally could not eat them. They weren't cleaned properly they were just cut in half and broiled or whatever the hell they did with them. The stems were never properly trimmed. I know if there was a chef or sous chef that was their weight in anything, these brussel sprouts would not have left the kitchen. Total lack of effort and laziness on the kitchen staffs part.

My family had a wonderful experience at Cutlery's. The atmosphere was amazing. Didn't know places like this still existed.
Food is great but the waitress is extremely rude and passive aggressive every time we come here. When you want breakfast in the morning, the last thing you want is someone making you feel guilty for paying to eat. The other employees seem pleasant for the most part.

Wonderful experience! The food was outstanding, the service was incredibly friendly (thank you, Justin!) and they were very kind and accommodating about food allergies. We hope to return (and often)!
Cutler’s has been a go-to for us for years, from casual date nights to professional and wedding events. The vibe is great, the staff are solid, and the patio is a rare find in Athens. But lately, the basics just aren’t there. On our last visit, every patio table was still dirty from earlier guests and ours never got wiped down. Our bottle of wine came out warm with no chiller offered. One burger was wrong, both were overcooked, and this isn’t the first time that’s happened. A nearby table sent food back too. We want to keep coming here, but consistency and care have to be part of the experience.
The kids and I took our Eis in for a Mother's Day breakfast and it was wonderful. Service, ambience, all the externals were perfect, and we couldn't ask for more. Cutler's is reliably great, always always. A few bloody Mary's to go around, some fresh cinnamon rolls, followed by eggs Benedict over crabcakes and one huge plate of chicken and waffles? Yes please! My wife enjoyed her Mother's Day immensely! The bounty of food was enjoyed by all, big portions and perfectly cooked. Thank you (again) Cutler's!
The food on the buffet was really not worth the $60 price per person. The food is usually so great but today we were very disappointed.
We arrived 10 minutes early and they seated our party right away for a 1:30 PM meal. The server was prompt bringing our drinks and keeping our glasses full. The only complaint would be the long amount of time for the kitchen to have our food ready. There was a university event on campus so we knew there would probably be a delay somewhere during the meal. The French Dip Sandwich was juicy and had very little fat in the meat. The cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, and regular fries were delicious too. The person in our party that ordered steak fries did not care for them but that was a personal preference. They appeared brown on the outside and tasted like they were baked, not fried. Again, a personal preference. The hotel, OU Inn was decorated for the university special event in the lobby area and on the second floor. Cutler's was a great experience for our whole party.
