I visited over the weekend and they were having a fun steampunk themed event. Fire breathing, delicious drinks and wonderful people!
They use honey in their wines and even do their own beekeeping!
Definitely worth a visit if you are in Athens Ohio.
Really impressed. Attended a event with some friends here. This little winery is very clean, very well maintained. And the staff is extremely polite and friendly. I tasted most of their beverages and it's all good. Also there in house homemade pizza is the best.
Wow I can’t say enough good things about this place!!
A quick drive from Athens, gorgeous scenery, amazing wines and ciders (even wine slushies for summer!), and really friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, board games and corn hole to play, free wifi, and even complementary popcorn!! (So yummy!!) Next time I want to get a charcuterie board as they look amazing. The wines and ciders were delicious and refreshing, plenty of different options and I loved how I could try however few or many when picking my flight. Michael behind the counter was awesome and had great recommendations. We can’t wait to go back!
Fun winery with great food !!
Great tasting meads.Paul, the owner, was very knowledgeable and friendly.
I’ve been several times and enjoy it each time. Tonight was the first time we’ve ordered pizza, it was good but I would prefer real plates and utensils…the cheap paper plates and plastic utensils leave a lot to be desired and super hard to cut through your slice of pizza, so doing some real plates and flat wear would be a nice touch.
Great location, excellent wines and ciders.
According to various websites, this was to be open on Saturdays at noon. We drove out of our way to try/buy some of the mead and fruit wines, just to find out they were closed on Sat now. Very disappointed. Think they need to update their website!
Fantastic pizza! Great seasonal mulled wine. Warm and friendly staff. Definitely worth the visit.
Yummy everything!

Stopped by on a trip to the Athens area. Went in with no experience with mead, so we did a flight of tasters. Both mead and hard cider were delicious and the staff was kind and knowledgeable. The owners were around when we went and they shared interesting stories with us and let us sample some test items from the kitchen! The chef was excited and clearly passionate about his work and made the most delicious pizza. Would absolutely return!
Priced great.. Different variety of meads. Not are thing. Nice environment
Fantastic service. A great place to visit with family. Food and wines were superb!
We stopped here during a weekend hiking trip and were so glad we did! They are pet friendly, have great wine, the staff is so nice (they kept bringing us popcorn to snack on), took the time to go over their wine selection with us, and were always checking on us. They have a water hookup on the front porch to fill up doggy water bowls, too! The property is very peaceful and we would love to come back and try some food with our wine.
Who stays in a caboose? Someone looking for an off the beaten path eccentric adventure!! What a wonderful peaceful quiet time. It was really hard to relax tho...we are always busy and going all the time...but it was much needed time away from everything!!
