“My sister had told me 20 years ago that the Philly cheese steak sandwich was the best thing on the menu! well hahaha, we're not sure because the hot honey chicken sandwich was phenomenal also! Melissa was her server and she was wonderful and came back to check on us and stayed out of sight at the same time! really nice atmosphere and we'll be back! 5⭐'s“

“The staff hit it out of the park! Everyone was so friendly and kind, our waitress even rescued me from a stink bug! On top of the service and friendly staff, the food was knock your socks off good. “We recently hosted a surprise party at Hackett's and it was absolutely wonderful! The owner Danny & his team were all very accommodating and helpful in the whole process! The bartender was a rockstar and the managers/staff were so nice! The outdoor patio is beautiful. And the bar has good food & cold beer! What more could you ask for! We will definitely be back to relax & enjoy a football game in the near future!“

“Came here for the .50 cent wing Wednesday. Smashed on wings of course, but also did the bologna sandwich. It was as good as the reviews said. Friend had the egg and pepper sandwich, and that was good also. Fries were good. Solid place for good food and drinks.“

“The wings!!!!!!! So dang good , couldn’t find anyone here in the Mahoning valley to do wings right until we thought we’d give you guys a try on New Year’s Eve and wow, the best wings I’ve had in a very very long time. Customer service was great as well. Got them To-go and we’re still perfect when we got home nice crisp and tasty!!! We will def be back again again and again!! Thankyou for being such a great establishment already and we’re just first time customers ❤️“

“Maranda was our server tonight. She was attentive and friendly. She has a great sense of humor.
The stuffed peppers were excellent.
The chicken stir fry was good but the sauce was a bit on the sweet side. Keep that in mind when ordering.

“Ive been in this place a couple times with a very good friend of mine that was a member. I do believe you have to have a membership to get in. The bar is BEAUTIFUL and they have several amazing local micro brews on tap. Ive heard the food is incredible but i havent had food there as of yet. They have ample parking and a great wait staff!“

“We used their catering service for 2 different events. Both events the food was delicious and plenty of it. We were very satisfied. We had many people ask who catered the food because they thought it was great. The prices are very fair too. Thank you!! 😊“

“I wasn’t planning on spending several hours at The Federal tonight, but life had other ideas.
I had just gotten out of a difficult situation, was waiting for an overnight bus, and my phone was almost dead. Justin, the manager, didn’t know me from Adam, but he handed me a charger and gave me a place to sit and recharge—both my phone and myself.
Over the next few hours I watched this place go from quiet to absolutely packed. The staff kept things moving, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
It’s easy to judge a business by the food or drinks. I judge places by how they treat people, especially when they don’t have to. Justin and his team showed genuine kindness without expecting anything in return.
If you’re looking for a place with great energy, good people, and management that genuinely cares, The Federal has earned my recommendation. Thank you for helping a stranger on a day I’ll never forget!“

“I don't want to give this place under a 4 star rating because the service and atmosphere weren't bad, and I know how important online ratings are. BUT, the 'gourmet mac and cheese' was overcooked and the noodles were SO soft, they were like mush in my mouth with a bunch of cheese that reminded me I was stupid enough to buy it with every chew. My mistake. I should've been able to tell by the unoriginal font on the sign that this place barely survives on drunken college kids.“

“If you're looking for a small of of the way dive bar then here ya go. Man, this place is great. My boys and I partied here before our friends wedding and had the best time. We tried to go back for the after party but they were closed. If you live in the area go hang out there!“

“We live in Salem and make the drive to Boardman just to go to Quench. Taco Tuesdays are the best! The only reason I gave 4 stars for service is because they need another server. The bartender is awesome but she could use some help. She’s killing herself to take care of the bar, the tables and the patio. The food is exceptional and they sure don’t skimp! Prices are incredibly reasonable. Truly a hidden gem.“

“Stopped in while passing through town for some karaoke with my cousin. The staff were friendly, the customers were awesome, and the KJ was very personable. It was both my cousins and my first time there and it was busy but we felt like we had been going there regularly. 10/10 would recommend“
