“I loved the beer selection and the menu options. The food was great. The atmosphere is what you expect at a pub-style restaurant while the food is what you expect at a medium-high-level restaurant.However… the service from the bar staff where I sat was mediocre. I waited entirely too long between drinks and for cashing out. To the point that they ended up coming to my beers. The kitchen brought out the wrong food. I ordered the Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna and they initially brought an appetizer instead. In the end, I waited entirely too long for the food the beer, and the check. Part of this may only apply to the bar that is enormous and slightly understaffed or mismanaged.I also at one point tried to get the attention of a kitchen staff that came to the bar for something. He ignored me twice when I asked, “Excuse me sir can I have my check?”Albeit, the food was genuinely delicious and well cooked. The beer selection is top-notch. And delicious also.“

“I was at the hotel for work and was glad they had a restaurant as I got in late. The menu is different online than in the restaurant but close to the same. Online said shrimp scampi but they actually had chicken scampi. The service was quick and the food was excellent. Looking forward to staying at the Cambria so I can eat here again!“

“Service is on point as soon as you walk in. Beers are ice cold and the mixed drinks will not disappoint. That food though....that is where it's at! Every meal is hot, fresh and garnished to perfection. You can not go wrong at JT's Pregame!!“

“First time here. Completely and utterly impressed. I'd heard rumors of how good the food was. It beat expectations. The bartenders and clientele also were amazing. “I walk a half mile twice a week just to eat the gyro and play pool at this bar either in the morning or at night it's always a great atmosphere with chill accepting people, 9/10 pool table and 11/10 bartenders, Amy is our favorite and always helps us out with anything we need.“

“Traveling through with my husband and 2 kids ages 5 and 8. Our waitress was attentive and kind. Food was fresh and yummy! The best part was the value of the kids meals. They were listed as "mini burgers" but they were full size burgers with a generous portion of fries! Plus, all kids meals include a drink, dessert, and toy! They both got ice cream cake and got to pick a toy from the treasure chest. If we lived locally, we would stop in often. Great spot!“

“It has been a long time since I have been in this bar. Pool leage brought us here. Wow!! Who ever cleaned this place up,you did a knock out job. Congrats to all involved. An a very well kept pool table. I remember a day when you have to beat your way out of this place. Not anymore. This is a very well run bar. Very clean. I would definitely return. Would not mind making it my hang out spot. But it's on the other side of town. That is the only reason I have not been back yet. Good place to take a date,or just hanging out with the work crew. Good job to all involved. Maybe you could open a place in Norton. 5 stars.“

“A neighborhood staple. We keep coming for the inexpensive, but tasty dinners and decent beer on draught. The staff is super friendly and it just seems like everyone there knows each other. Nothing fancy, but definitely comforting.Kid-friendliness: Don’t bring your kids here, please. This is not for them.“

“The restaurant was very nice and clean. The food was excellent and didn't break the wallet, and those two you don't normally find pairing together. I will be back to this establishment for sure.Vegetarian options: There are not a lot of vegetarian options, but they do have pasta, and it was excellent.“

“We took a day trip to Akron for a festival and stopped into this bar while exploring the town. This bar was huge, clean, and beautiful! Our bartender was so sweet and answered all our questions! You can't beat their happy hour prices as well! I got the house cab and it was phenomenal! If I lived in the area, I would come all the time!“

“AUTHENTIC/DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I have traveled in Burma/Myanmar, Thailand and many places in SE Asia - and we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the portions at Leyh Thai Restaurant. The decor is also very pleasant and would be ideal for a quiet romantic meal or larger gatherings (birthdays, etc.). We had lunch there recently for my husband's birthday and noticed there were few customers. They do a larger take-out business, but I'm writing this review in hopes that folks in the Akron/Cuyahoga Falls/Tallmage/Kent/Fairlawn area will consider enjoying a meal there in person for lunch and/or dinner. “We got a fish sandwich and oh my gosh. The fish was two huge pieces on a hoagie bun with lettuce and tomato, plus French fries. I took the fish off the bun as well as the lettuce and tomato because I knew I'd never be able to eat it all if it was on the bun. I barely got the two pieces of fish down anyway. The fish and fries were delicious ?“

“I absolutely love this place! We went in on St. Patty's Day, knowing it was going to be busy, but the staff was on the ball. They got us chairs to sit in while all the tables were full, and we did not have to wait on a drink. When a table cleared, our group of four ordered food, and it was fantastic. Even though they were packed, our wait was not long at all. We had burgers, fries, and buffalo chicken dip. The live music was better than any band I saw in Nashville just a few weeks prior. We will be back often!!“

“I've been on the patron side of bars going on 4 decades in 50 states. I have to give this bar credit where credit is due. Of all the bars in Akron, this one is the cleanest and classiest by far. Of course I could find some things that they could improve upon. No bar is perfect. But this one comes close. Cleanest restrooms, friendly staff, prices are decent. They doing it right. Upscale slightly older crowd. Highly recommend.“

“Was there for Stark Art. Nice and friendly atmosphere. The have daily specials on food and drinks. We tried a variety of the specials and were not disappointed. Our bartender was amazing. While we went to the other side to start painting it seem that Americans Idiol broke out. The rest of the night was truly enjoyable. I suggest you try this as a couple. I was the only guy there but I did have tihere and the instructor was top notch. She walked the class through every step. Worth every dollar!!!“

“After driving past this dining gem on S Main for years, wondering if we'd enjoy the place, we stopped in this past Saturday at around 4PM to get a late afternoon meal. We were seated almost immediately in a spotless booth with soft lighting, provided menus with an endless array of offerings, and asked for our beverage order. Suffice it to say we were impressed by the immediate service given to us by Felicia, and her ability to make us feel welcomed! The bleucheese burger we shared was perfect, French fries were very hot and crispy, and the house salad was accompanied by two house-made dressings, a creamy white French and a balsamic...both were outstanding, and the servings were enough to provide dipping sauces for the fries. We believe we have found the neighborhood tavern we've been seeking since moving to Akron in 2018! Sure, the burger prices were a bit high, but in keeping with the disastrous economic times. Super neighborhood spot for dining, libations, and tv viewing. And the friendly staff is the icing on the cake, actually on the incredibly sinfully deeelicious bread pudding!“

“This bar and grill had decent food for exceptional pricing.Tuesday Tacos are $1, and they are hard or soft and better than Taco Bell. 3 stars, so it is okay, but 5 star price.I also tried the pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese side..4.99 stars. It is on a toasted bun with perfect meat placement. Maybe I should give it 5 stars.I am not from the immediate area, but the patrons and staff were friendly the few times I have been here.“

“We went to this place at 7am on a whim to get steaks and they were awesome! The lady who served us was really sweet, the cook came out with my eggs and she was really sweet too, and the food was great. Definitely will visit again when we need 7am steaks!! Lol“

“It might be a conflict of interest for me to even rate this place because I was there in the beginning when the place opened its doors. It regardless I have to say that I enjoyed the food enough that I came an hour early each day that I worked so I could get a chance to order their food to eat before my shift started on those days. If you get a chance, try their steak named the "Eli". It's a huge Strip steak that's worth the price! The last time I was in there they still had half price appetizers on Saturday. If they still have them I recommend the stuffed banana peppers because they're delicious.Parking: Since it is not possible to add more parking to the existing parking lot the owner has permission to allow for people to park in a parking lot across Market Street instead.“

Great cheap foods n fun tucked away off Akron's Main street n North Hill area--Hidden gem starting to bloom. “One of my favorite and first low-key bars I've enjoyed since I was younger. The only thing I could think that might count as a complaint, is that I wish there was more delicious food on the menu. But I can't complain in any seriousness because I still love the food they do have. Miss you Theo, RIP.“

“Pricey. Kept us from also ordering drinks. But otherwise award winning food making it a special treat for us! Just the same scenario as everywhere with higher prices than we will pay on any kind of regular basis. They must have a great cook!“

“Lily J is one of the best servers I've ever had . Pays attention and asks how everything is or do we need anything and made sure we didn't have a month full or just took a bite . Hopefully others will take after her skills . Very professional and personable young lady . . Dinner , 2 different appetizers and dessert and drinks were all amazing. We will definitely be back.“
