EuroGyro University of Akron is a great multi-decade historic restaurant. The place is nice itself, but parking is difficult due to a small back parking area and a one-way alley full of pot holes. The food is outstanding and priced right. Quality and quantity abound here. The lamb gyro is exceptional, packed with flavorful, seasoned lamb meat and generously portioned. The barbecued chicken wings are crisp and loaded with sauce, and the salad is huge and fresh. Customers order and pay themselves from a screen, which gives all the options for choosing ingredients. The food is prepared quickly. The atmosphere is fun, right off the main road, with lots of TVs showing various sports. For karaoke, the bartender upstairs is sociable and fast, handling a loud crowd easily. Wings are bomb and drinks are good. This place gets five stars for quantity and five stars for quality.
