“Everything I come here, the foods been fresh. The sushi is made so it's not sitting long and the warm.foods are tasty and even reheat nicely the next day. I've had so much different types of food to list, and sushi rolls, but mainly they're so obliging with custom orders or substitutions or changes you want made to your food. They're even willing to try making new rolls, as long as they have the means to make it.“

“I will say this.. I have been to several establishments around and they by far have the best tasting sushi! Fresh and delicious, but that is hit and miss. Sometimes you can go and it is so good, you want to order it for lunch the next day or dinner. Then sometimes you go, the sushi tastes a bit store bought. I hate the hit and miss of quality from this place. Also, they can be a bit stingy on their dipping sauce, if you order two separate orders for yourself and someone else, why would you only give me one dipping sauce? There are two separate orders, so I just don’t understand, and this has happened to me more than once and on purpose.“

The food is fresh, fast, and the meats are cooked hibachi style right in front of the customer, caramelizing them with a high heat char. As others have said, when the cook is done preparing your meal, they'll offer you a ladle of extra teriyaki sauce. The answer to this question is always yes.Now, on to the details and why I gave it 4/5 instead of a solid 5.Let's start with the cashier. Every time I've come here, the same cashier has been working, and she always seems annoyed that a customer has shown up. She can come off a bit snippy and impatient and has cut me off in the middle of speaking many times. I'm not sure what her deal is, or if it's just me, but I don't appreciate being made to feel like I'm bothering the cashier just by walking up to order.A word to the wise: as far as I can tell, the chicken is dark meat, and can sometimes not be trimmed as well as it should be. Almost every order has a few inedible or extremely fatty pieces, and I've come across several small pieces of bone and connective tissue over the many times I've eaten here. I don't know if they break down the meat in house or if it's shipped ready to cook, so I can't really fault them for it, but it's still a little off-putting.Despite these two issues, I do actually really enjoy Sarku Japan and it's pretty much the only place I go when I'm craving some Asian or teriyaki goodness. I highly recommend it. If you happen to be perusing the mall or just in the Boardman area, give it a try.“

“I've been eating there for more than 15 years and it's always been Great! The private hut rooms are cool and enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar too! I've eaten many pounds of their cuisine, never a problem. It's a family run multi generational business, competing with the conglomerates! Cut them some slack, please.“

Because there is no longer Golden Corral in Boardman and Hometown Buffet in Niles and Ponderosa Steakhouse on Elm Road in Warren Ohio. And now so customers won't have to go to the Golden Corral in Hermitage Pennsylvania to get American food? American food like Real Yams Mac, and Cheese, Baked Chicken, White Rice, Broccoli Cauliflower, Carrots, Cornbread Dressing and Mashed Potatoes and gravy.“
