“I will say this.. I have been to several establishments around and they by far have the best tasting sushi! Fresh and delicious, but that is hit and miss. Sometimes you can go and it is so good, you want to order it for lunch the next day or dinner. Then sometimes you go, the sushi tastes a bit store bought. Also, they can be a bit stingy on their dipping sauce, if you order two separate orders for yourself and someone else, why would you only give me one dipping sauce? There are two separate orders, so I just don’t understand, and this has happened to me more than once and on purpose.“

The food is fresh, fast, and the meats are cooked hibachi style right in front of the customer, caramelizing them with a high heat char. Every time I've come here, the same cashier has been working, and she always seems annoyed that a customer has shown up. I'm not sure what her deal is, or if it's just me, but I don't appreciate being made to feel like I'm bothering the cashier just by walking up to order.A word to the wise: as far as I can tell, the chicken is dark meat, and can sometimes not be trimmed as well as it should be. Almost every order has a few inedible or extremely fatty pieces, and I've come across several small pieces of bone and connective tissue over the many times I've eaten here. I don't know if they break down the meat in house or if it's shipped ready to cook, so I can't really fault them for it, but it's still a little off-putting.Despite these two issues, I do actually really enjoy Sarku Japan and it's pretty much the only place I go when I'm craving some Asian or teriyaki goodness. “I've been eating there for more than 15 years and it's always been Great! The private hut rooms are cool and enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar too! I've eaten many pounds of their cuisine, never a problem. It's a family run multi generational business, competing with the conglomerates! Cut them some slack, please.“

“We really enjoyed our first visit to Mizu. The size of the soup bowls were ginormous! We tried 3 different unique appetizers & that soup was so satisfying. “Everything I come here, the foods been fresh. The sushi is made so it's not sitting long and the warm.foods are tasty and even reheat nicely the next day. I've had so much different types of food to list, and sushi rolls, but mainly they're so obliging with custom orders or substitutions or changes you want made to your food. They're even willing to try making new rolls, as long as they have the means to make it.“
