“As someone whose mother bakes a lot, we always discuss what we like and dislike about different treats we eat. We both can agree that the macarons are wonderful as they fill them with a depth of flavor. That's primarily the reason I keep going back. We also agree that the cupcakes are beautiful but the cake portion is not stellar-- maybe a bit above average. If you're a frosting person, you'll likely enjoy the cupcakes a lot more. The blondies are good. I don't have any experience with their cookies.“

“Today we celebrated my 36th birthday and my mom was searching for a vegan birthday cake! She found Chez Michel and has just been raving about how incredibly friendly everyone was and how excited they were to bake me a vegan birthday cake. It is absolutely decadent and delicious! I could not recommend Chez Michel more!! We will be back in a few weeks for the Chai cake that she was told about!“

“So glad this franchise opened up in the area! We were excited to go here because we went to another location in Tampa Palms Florida but sadly this place was lacking. There was a lot of empty shelves and the place is very tiny and compact. The coffee was ok and not that great since it’s automated from a machine. The desserts were good from what I remember. Too bad when we went they didn’t stock shelves with pastries. The service was friendly, maybe they’ve improved since we been there last.“

“First time visiting this place. Went with a friend who raved about it. Everything was good, employees were polite, no complaints from me. It's just a little pricey, but that's just my opinion. Im not mad, if you're able to have a successful business by getting people to pay $20 for 2 cookies and 2 brownies, I'm all for it. I just don't see myself going back. Again, it's not because there's any things I would say that would make someone not go, just not my kind of place. But if you're looking for a decent size cookie that's tasty and warm but don't want to bake it yourself then I'd recommend enjoying a 5 cookie lol“

“We've had donuts for our parishioners from various stores in the area on Sundays for years and none can compare to Expresso. Donuts are freshly made every day, delicious & of a generous size and the owners and staff are excellent to work with. So glad they are in Elyria!“

“I got a smash cake (6in round) for my toddler sons bday and I wanted a pumpkin since it’s mid October. The cake turned out better than Anything I could of imagined! She did an amazing Job! The cake was moist with an amazing chocolate flavor. I will definitely be calling her next year or any other time If I need a cake! I added photos of the cake below! “We had our first taste of a Festive Tree Cake as leftovers from friends—and the small pieces several days old were fabulous! They showed us pictures of the cakes and described how they were made. We ordered the Pumpkin Spice and the Black Forest. The cakes are marvelous, almost too lovely to cut into. The flavors did not disappoint.We have sent several cakes to friends, all of whom have had the same reaction as ours. We’ll continue to spread the word about these special cakes and will be ordering more.“
