I’m so glad I found this place. I think their pastries are wonderful. I have also noticed that since the place changed hands, it’s even better. Everyone is so lovely, and it’s nice to stop in and get a treat, and support a local business. The cinnamon rolls are my favorite. ❤️

Enjoyed a Sunday morning brunch at Chez Michel. The food was phenomenal! I tried the Strata, egg pastry and chocolate croissant. Each was just as good as the next but the egg pastry was my personal favorite. Buttery soft, flaky and perfectly warm. Looking forward to returning to try the illustrious “Avon’s best corned beef” as seen on the sign or the buildings exterior.
Would love to see more of the French heritage told through the buildings decor!

Was buying a gift for friends at a nearby store and noticed this shop. Had planned to get just a coffee when I first walked in. After seeing all that the store had, I ended up getting a bowl of lentil soup to eat in the store, and a couple a croissants, and several kolaczki cookies for take-out. Everything was terrific.
Made a HUGE mistake not buying more of everything.
Well worth stopping in and spending some dough when you’re in Avon.
