“OK. I checked this place out last year and I was sorely disappointed. But they have completely changed their tune...er, taste. The curry chicken has a nice spicy taste. The cabbage has good flavor and a unique (at least to me) different presentation (sliced up real thin). And they give HUGE portions! I'm talking "can't shut the lid" portions! Man, they have Jamaican-style plantains - they sweet style. I have another favorite Jamaican spot which I have been going to for almost twenty-five years. If Jamerican keeps up what I experienced today, they may end up taking the gold.“

“This is hands down the best most consistent Jamican food in the city. I’ve been going here for the last decade and I always get the best customer service, hot food - they’re rarely out of food unless they’re close to closing unlike other Jamican food restaurants. Their food is always hot and fresh and the atmosphere is a vibe if you just wanted to hang out and eat. Literally every time I try another Jamican restaurant I have no choice but to compare it to this one and usually they don’t stand with Taste of Jamaica.“

“I'm not a Jamaican food connoisseur, but this place was absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was good. The cabbage was superb, and I'm not a big cabbage fan. Their rum cakes and lemonade were done to perfection. The meat was tender and well seasoned. This is a place we plan to return to, next time for the oxtail. The staff were very kind and helpful in dealing with food allergies. Highly recommended!“

“Aight 10/10. The most flavorful curry chicken. Spice and herbs are not the same as other joints. I would say this is more authentic, but I don’t really know. It is the most flavorful tho to me and most home style of cooking I’ve come across in long while. Portions are big IMO. Cabbage is good/rustic. Chirp Chirp Lesco.“

They make EVERYTHING on their menu and it's price to portion ratio is perfect. Definitely a hidden jewel of a restaurant/store.“

“I have been going to this restaurant for years. It has been a while since I made a visit, but I decided to go today. I was not disappointed, the oxtails are so delicious. Some Jamaican restaurants give a very stingy portion and you have way more bones and barely any meat. This restaurant is fair and I have not felt any disappointment after purchasing a meal. The flavors are wonderful. The rice, the cabbage everything is delicious. It is safe to say that Bratnahl Kitchen has the best Jamaican oxtails in Cleveland. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“I definitely would and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone came from out of town and wanted my country food so we ordered two jerk chicken meal and just a side of jerk when I open my box I was somewhat upset that my jerk chicken was plastered with not jerk sauce but BBQ sauce, like what the hell !! There was no essence of jerk seasoning on any parts of the chicken at all it was not enjoyable. The cabbage was over cooked as well p“

“The food is amazing, falling off the bone tender chicken, delicious sides, generous portions, fair prices, and very pleasant staff. Everytime I come here I wonder why I did not come back sooner. This place is take-out only, no frills, but is the best in the city for pan-carribean food.“
