“I came back home for my grandmother's funeral and we went to Bobby De's Gateway to relax after the viewing. The food was amazing the cook made a sauce to die for he made me truly happy the women at the bar was amazing, the music was old school and I loved it. This place get 2 thumbs up.“

“Only rated four stars due to what I imagine are growing pains for any new restaurant opening. My guess is that the small details (No menus or cutlery offered upon arrival, room temperature (but delicious) gumbo and somewhat slow service due to a large party seated before us) will be ironed out soon.

Other than the soup, all food was delicious and piping hot from the kitchen. Cajun fries, cheesesteak and fish tacos were all spot on, and don’t get me started on the home made “crack”…our awesome server brought us out an extra bowl because he heard us say how amazing they were.

“Went to Dilly's for the first time today. The food was very good and the waitress Eva was exceptional. We had a special request about our food and she was very gracious and was able to do what we asked.“

“I ordered a $12 corn beef I asked for the bread to be toasted. She tried to charge me more because she said that's a ruben just for you to toast the bread OK. I went inside I ordered a fry it was a handful of fries for $3. Tell me why I get to my car to eat my sandwich and my sandwich is cold. The cheese was not melted and the meat was room temp.And they were rude. I am never going back.“

I started not to say anything but after a lot of thought I felt like this needs to be said. My wife and I have visited this place on several occasions usually during the week and had great service from Maggie. However this past Saturday was a complete disaster. We came in to have a burger and beer and after arriving and sitting at a table in the bar area we waited.......and waited ........ and waited. Finally after sitting and watching the bartender who we later learned was Kate socializing with what appears to be her friends for almost 15 minutes we finally flagged a guy walking by asking him if there was a waitress for this area. He stopped immediately and apologized asking what we wanted to drink and then proceeded to go behind the bar and grab our drinks himself. Coming back he apologized and asked if we wanted something to eat and took our order. Our food was later brought out by someone else and the whole time the bartender continued to socialize with the two or three people at the bar that appeared to be friends. Only after our food was brought out did she finally decide to tear herself away from her social group and grace her with her presence, and even this interaction seemed to be a bother to her. Guess I made a long story longer. Point is the bartender Kate is ok if you're in her social group. If you're not forget about getting any kind of service from her.“

“There is a wonderful little restaurant attached to this bar..and the braised short ribs are ..SEXY. Tender, full of flavor and absolutely delightful!! The chef always comes out to talk with the customers because clearly she loves what she does and is very good at it!! The bartenders are very personable and quite funny! John and Coach are awesome. Love this is place! *disclaimer..I do not remember the chef's name sorry...but her food speaks volumes as well as her professionalism..#girlsrock!! Keep up the great work! “Really good food n cozy place however service was poor. Our waitress was very rude n even yelled at us when ordering, she didn’t come check in nor did she fill our drinks and was snotty the whole time. At the end we did not leave her a tip because a tip is earned it’s a privilege not a requirement. When leaving she came to our vehicles to yell at me n my buddies for not tipping again if you do your job you get a tip. She stated she only makes $5/hr n relies on those tips and once again I will say do your job and you will be tipped generously. Orrrr get a better job:) again the food was good but service was very poor“

“I was invited by the hostess April. She'll is attentive and makes sure everyone is having a great time. I usually enjoy the atmosphere. Last week the music was mood setting... Which would have been great if I had something sexy to go home to, but if I had that, why would I be at a bar on a Sunday. A few requests were made. But the owners'choices were played first. “I like Sassys, but there updates on their Facebook account can be very misleading at times when it comes to music. Have told them about it at least six times. I was just up at Sassy's Friday 12-1-22 and they told me that Jam night started at 8:00 like it always does on the first Tuesday of every month. So had a group of people meet us up there today Tuesday on 12-6-22 only to find out that it was canceled. Nothing posted on Facebook which really really stinks. Told them to post, as soon as they know, if they don’t want to piss off their customers. The Union house bar always has a call up filler band come in during any cancellations. 12-6-22 8:15pm.“

“Stopped in to eat after a morning of car shopping. Took my Daughter and her boyfriend on a week day afternoon. Very nice little dinner. Waitress was fantastic. Very friendly and funny to talk with. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Cook even made my pot roast into the exact way I asked. We will definitely be coming back. I wish I remembered the waitresses name. She was one of best waitresses we had in a long time. Owners should be happy to have her as a employee. Keep up the great attitude and the smiles that she had the whole time. 5 STARS all the way around.“
