“The first thing is that the people were very nice and courteous. That goes a long way in this society of piss poor customer service. However, they gave me a jumbo sandwich and it was absolutely not worth 15.00. Yet, it tasted very good. It was just very small. I was told it was half a pound. The store itself was not very clean. This is just the truth. However, the place seemed to be knowledgeable about who came in and out of the store with welcoming greetings and smiles. I won't go back for corned beef. The value is not there, but the menu was extensive, and I can only imagine that it also was good just like the corned beef.“
“The best deli in town, and some of the best corned beef I have had. Small diner open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays only. I went on Friday around 12:30 and there was a line out the door and around the corner. Took around 15 mins to get in and get food. Corned beef is piled high and is super tender and tasty. It's changed hands a few times over the twenty six years I''ve been here and the family that currently owns it are wonderful, and sweet people. Always with something nice to say and a happy greeting. Maple has not faired well through the years and the neighborhood isn't nice anymore, and that's something you need to keep in mind when visiting, but the deli is outstanding and the beer selection is good and very reasonably priced. Again, great neighborhood store for deli and a quick stop to pick up beverages.“
