We had an 8 top. I was talking to the person next to me and the server never took my order. When I saw the food coming for other people, I called the server and said you never got my order. She realized her mistake, + took my order. I never got my food until the rest of my table was more than halfway done with their food. She discounted my meal 50%. I was not happy with the service. In addition, another person at our table sent back her Caesar salad twice because of old romaine lettuce. I was very disappointed in the service and food quality.

Love this place. The owner Mike is cool. The staff it super friendly. They give you a lot of food. Very chill old school pub vibes with good music. Outdoor patio is great this time of year. We go here frequently to unwind. Berea is a beautiful place.

The buffalo chicken egg rolls should have been called the buffalo chicken burrito. There was no sharing based on the size (when i was at mikes the other weekend it didn’t look like this) my husband and i got Togo and we were served the poorest quality. We are beyond disappointed.

Went here last night for the second time - first time last year was great, but last night this place sucked. 1. It was too crowded. 2. They didnt have the food we asked for 3. It took over an hour for them to bring the food out after we ordered. 4. The food was cold. 5. The server didnt ask if we needed condiments and I literally had to flag them down to ask. 6. After waiting for more than an hour for our food, they still didnt bring us silverware for our table until we asked (once the food was already at the table). Again, I had to flag down the wait staff to ask for silverware. 7. I ran out of water and beer midway through my meal and instead of flagging the wait staff down (again) to ask them to bring more water I just left thirsty and did not tip well. It was a total bummer going here last night and I'm not sure I'm going to go back, which is a shame because people usually talk highly of it. To try and make things better, they took $4 off the bill for my soup... which was laughable considering it costs more to buy a coffee for breakfast to go.

Our server was great. But after waiting 67 minutes for our food to arrive, we had nothing but a disappointing experience. Our onion rings were still half raw. Our French fries were cold. And to top it off, our quesadilla was cold. The side of pickles requested was never delivered. The wings sauces are not spicy, and the blue cheese is watery. The beer cheese soup tastes more like clam chowder because it has chunks of vegetables and is very watery. The staff adjust the checks slightly, but who knows how the kitchen with address these huge issues. I will not be coming back anytime soon because the bill was high and the outcome a flop.
MBAG (Mike's Bar and Grill) is a great spot for some good drinks and food. It can be pretty busy inside depending on when you get there. Also, be aware that the owner is trying to correct the kitchen time on Google, but the kitchen closes at 9p, not 10p throughout the whole week! I usually get the chicken parm sandwich (which is stellar!) but tried the august porkbelly blt taco special. It was honesty very underwhelming. I subbed regular mayo for the Sriracha, but the real issue was the micro sliver of meat. I could barely taste. And I'm saying it was like a quarter piece of bacon but pork belly instead. Anyways, the other food at the table was delicious (except the fresh cut fries were a tad undercooked). Only other thing to mention is that the patio is lovely! But, if you get seated at a high top under the umbrellas, and it gets dark, there are no lights. And it's pretty dark, to the point where it's hard to see your meal. Service was very good, very friendly! Great place and definitely frequent a couple times a month.
