“I picked up an online to go order of Dinner for Two at what I guess was close to their closing time. It took a few minutes for anyone to notice I was at the front counter, but they did have my food ready right away. The server seemed a little distracted like maybe they were in preparation for closing. I had to ask for utensils and there was no salt or pepper, no butter for the rolls, and no napkins included in the bag (and the utensil packets do not include spoons which we needed for the soup we ordered. We're staying in a hotel so it was a bit of a bother to try to go find some.) The order was accurate, however, and the food was very good, but the portion size for the steak tips we ordered was a little disappointing, considering the $5 up charge per person for them over the regular Dinner for Two price. It was a decent meal overall, but just a few things could have made it much better.“

“Great Food! Great Service! and Great Deals!! My favorite is their Fish Sandwich with Tarter Sauce & Fries for $10 + tax. The Sandwich and Fries were both so GOOD!! I recommend it! I will be ordering mine withing minutes!!“

“It had been many years since we had been to the Root Beer Stand so it was high time to come back. It had grown a fair amount since our last visit which was great to see. The place was really busy but they really are streamlined well and there was not a long wait time. There is a bit of indoor seating but a vast majority of the seating is at picnic tables outside around the area. Everything looked great all around the grounds although you must remember you are outside and there are a fair amount of bees around so beware of that. I had a footlong chili dog and fries which were excellent especially the chili dog. Also had to have a root beer float which was legendary as usual as their locally sourced root beer really is delicious. This is definitely an awesome place to go on a summer day for sure and it gets my highest recommendation.“

“Hands down, my favorite restaurant! I love the large menu and their ranch dressing is the best (made in house and I almost always get a side of it for fries). Lots of beers on tap and a large bar for cocktails. We have had graduation parties, birthday celebrations and many enjoyable conversations here. What I look forward to every year is their support each October for Breast Cancer Awareness and Fundraising. As a survivor, I am grateful for this effort. They do it for other fundraising needs as well. Silver Spring House is a little bit vacation and a lot of bit family!“

“The Back Porch Saloon is our local legend!!! The absolute best cheese fries my wife and I have ever had ask for extra seasoning its dah bomb! The Burgers and Ribs are our Fav. Sand Volley Ball Leagues too! Happy Hour specials are great, love a good margarita! See you guys next week!“

We were visiting from the Cleveland Ohio area and found this place totally by accident. We felt like family 5 minutes after we walked in the door. Very friendly and helpful staff, and out of this world kitchen and a diverse menu. It will be your new favorite secret spot.“

“I went to night and got curbside pick up! They came right out with my food. I ordered the soup and half sandwich. Chili and pot roast sandwich. My food was great! “My family usually goes every Saturday morning and our waitress is great! We usually have 5 to 7 people with us and our waitress remembers everyone's order. Plus my father and I are usually there before the rest of the family and the waitress already has our drinks made before we even sit down which is nice.“

“It was a comfortable, relaxing place for good quality down home type cuisine. The atmosphere was welcoming, sounds of friendly chatter and laughter made it feel like we were all welcome guersts, part of large family gathering. The waitress was pleasant, welcoming and helpful. They made special changes in cooking the food for my special needs with no hesitation, no dirty looks. The manager stopped by to make sure everything was perfect and I was happily enjoying my meal. And. I don't say this often in restaurants, the coffee was good! Score! Comfortable prices were another Score!

Dietary restrictions: Accommodations were made for my special needs diet with no hesitation, in a comfortable, accepting and pleasant manner. They went out of their way to please their customers. All were welcomed equally.“
